Grew up at the interceptions of I-75 & I-696 on the Royal Oak side. Remember 696 being built west of 75. Did some sledding on 696 during the winter when the freeway was being built. Best sledding ever!

I love driving the 696. It's my favourite freeway in Detroit. The fall colours were a nice touch. Nice work on the video.

The service drives for Mound road over 696 is probably the worst pothole ridden roads I have ever drove on. I had to get a new used rim for my work truck one day at Neuner's towing and almost had to get new wheels for my car.

I think I know exactly where you're talking about. Westbound right past Mound? MDOT just redid all the service drives in that area (just a mill and fill I believe) last year. Sorry to hear the loss of your wheels.

Probably due to my poor upload schedule or different road video locations (mainly just filming Michigan now due to the current pandemic). This won't discourage me to continue making videos though since I like to do this for fun once I have the time to.
