I just love the retro look. I am not a collector - maybe not. I have 3 of these. A Blue one, A Maroon one and a Silver one. so a 9000, a 9100 and a 9200. It is my understanding that the silver 9200 has two motors. The Silver 9200 is used. I just replaces all 4 tires - kaka wheels with new Royal wheels - and had to drill out the axel hole. Built a jig to hold wheel securely and used a drill press. Also installed a new OEM bumper. Runs and look pretty good for a used machine. Main issue is the rubberized handle is flaking apart. The Blue and Maroon are new and one even has the original box. I also have the plastic accessory tools. Many people have commented on how cool they look. However these units would probably beat up a hardwood floor. The beater bar is heavy duty. I will be looking to sell 2 of them and just keep one.

Man that's impressive to hear what you built a gig to drill out some Wheels. They're not really worth a lot or particularly desirable. But if you're looking to sell it I would post it to Discord or vacuum land.

I actually love the blue version. The burgundy variant I didn’t like too well but the blue looks really sharp.

I bought one of these new off Ebay for $99 back when Royal first dropped them from their lineup. I had heard they were heavy but I was shocked at just how heavy the machine was when it arrived. It felt significantly heavier than a Kirby G series machine. Only had it a short time before I traded it in on a Sebo X4.

Sold hundreds of these online when tti closed them out. Lots of problems & yea, very heavy to ship and lots of complaints. Great vid!

I had this exact same vacuum and I have the attachments to it and then I developed back problems and I had to get rid of it but it was a good machine I wish they would have made it self-propelled it would have made it a lot easier to use

Was the dirt devil platinum force modeled after this machine bc its a bagless machine and it looks very similar to the powercast

The height adjustment mechanism is not working. How do you fix that on the Powercast?

I have one in box have done anything with it and was thinking of maybe selling it bc I don’t need it since I have two others that were used and mine are ok on performance but not the best I wish it had more suction

I remember those machines! Too bad they were short-lived. I heard they were heavy and awkward compared to the traditional all-metal uprights.
