I know a few people who bought from RTI and did the hand select option but made sure to use their cc card and when the rifle showed up not as asked for they tried to exchange them to no avail so they did charge backs and won. I would advise people to order with a customer friendly charge card and if you get hosed to charge back.

Overall looks good, love the grain in the wood as well. You probably already got them out, but for viewers that run into flathead screws in your condition... The original 8x50r was actually under sized and it swells up to the 329 bore diameter i forgot the technical term for it lol. But 8x56r bullets will be just fine in her. You can use 7.62x54r brass trimmed to length for it. Also perhaps 8x50 lebel dies might work for resizing im not sure

@@ReadinessReviews the standard bullet diameter used in the 8x50R Mannlicher is a .323, for the 240 grain round nose bullet, and the bullet had a hollow base to expand to grab the rifling when fired. The spritzer bullets which are boat tailed work really well and are accurate, but the diameter of the spritzer is .330. Thats the same spritzer they use in the 8x56R many of those rifles were converted to.

The M95 i got from RTI was actually in really good shape. the bore and stock is seriously superb. i think because they didnt have ammo for it lol. There is a little pitting but not bad at all. the rifling itself is very strong, like stronger than any of my other ww1 era mil surps! The only thing that was unfortunate about it was that the bolt body had quite a bit of rust. you could feel it. I smoothed it out with steel wool tho. oh and the firing pin threads were a little worn on ones side but it works ok still. I bought a bolt body for 13$ from Allegheny arsenal/mg34 and a firing pin for like 20-30$. I think i got that from apex parts. oh yeah as far as blueing only the tip of the barrel was somewhat white. the barrel bands were rusty and once i cleaned em they were completely white so i blued them to match
