As a transmasc, I love the fact we got a bit more body diversity in that regard (esp since a lot of my male OCs/cosplays are more "feminine"/small than the masc toggles we're used to) but I'm so fed up with how little content we get for masc toggles.... I saw the small masc toggle and was like "oh this is neat it probably scales with the package you're using :D" switched to the masculine body type and. Nope. So disappointed......

As a masculine player, I 100% agree with this. Back in 2018-2021, I had to dress up as a girl just because they barely had anything to wear at the time. When they finally released some better masc items (SP set, WW, etc.), I felt like they finally listened to us after all these years. But they went right back to how they were, it was really frustrating for me and every masc player i feel like :/ Really hoping the devs will do something ACTUALLY better for us...

I used to also back in the days dress up with a more feminine avatar, and when there were rumours about that male pirate set going around (which never came sadly 🥲) I was super hype! and then of course, male set started to come along feminine sets and I started to finally dress up more masculine. As much as I personally like that we have twinkified bodies as I identify more with a smaller slimmer male body, I'm very upset that there's no majorly masc bodies anymore. I truly hope this update comes soon and that we can get those back, especially for my fellow trans peeps and everyone in the community. "Girls game" or not, no reason to get rid of masc items.

a slider system would defitnetly help. Ive always thought of a slider system, and in general, adding something that one group needs, helps EVERYONE. thats why being inclusive is so important. Not only would this help masc players (and also adding new masc stuff for them ofc) but it would also help any player in general who wants to make a certain part of the bigger, smaller, longer, or wider. Heck, using the scaling for accessories would be amazing too since you would be able to make accessories look good. Some tend to float in the wrong spot, or look weird while stacked. To wrap this up thank you for speaking out about inclusivity, and how it affects masc players. You'd be surprised how much of a big dressing update could help!

Also to give someone a real life situation, think of it like adding ramps for disabled people. Not saying these two things are on the same level, but this situation is more of a real life issue! Disabled activist ask for ramps in areas that only have stairs, and once to ramps are added, they not only help disabled people, but mothers with strollers, kids, elderly people, and just common folk who use the ramp. It literally helos everyone. So i hope the devs really take this stuff into consideration, as royale high had a worse incident with inclusivity a few years ago....😬😬

The fact that even the December's Dream set and the new Swan set has small body portions really does annoy me, for the masc body types. I can't mix and match things using the things I like, and I'm glad this has been discussed by you, Cyber. Not only this, but the lack of hair styles for Black POC Players is insane. We've been begging for YEARS for hairs to represent us in updates. I believe the last time we got hairstyles for us was in 2022 Halloween. A lot of us POC players have to use hairs within the catalog because we're tired of barely having anything to work with. We're struggling with the little we have, we want representation for our community at least with the hairs.. I wish they could hire the POC ugc hair makers such as Glam Factory, GNA, Wiggz and more. I really feel like people forgot about us and no one's talking about this anymore.

I 100% agree on this. Though the masc/fem toggles aren't my personal main concern. It's the lack of body type representation. As a plus size person myself, I can't say I'd love to see *more* representation, since there is none at all to begin with. I want to see representation with differant genders, cultures, and body types, never mind things like disability inclusion with things like hearing aids, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and so much more. Adding top surgery scar alternatives to shirtless masc toggles would also be amazing.

As someone who enjoys making masc outfits and has always used masc outfits, it's really not looking good right now. Especially because of the inequality between feminine and masculine items or options in general, making masculine outfits has become really challenging and quite repetitive. All my masc outfits just kinda look somewhat "the same" Because there simply isn't enough options. Another issue is that not all items need to be "scaled up" Or be "bigger" For them to appear masculine. Some items like the male version of cherry blossom bodice & sleeves kinda look ridiculous because they just made it "bigger" To make it more masculine. I hope they actually fix the proportions and not just make them bigger when they rework these items. I just want everyone to be represented and the community to be heard by the devs so that we can express ourselves again through this game❤

Everywhere I go I get followed and before most people friend me they ask me one question "Are you a male?" And one day I said "No, I'm a female" that person immediately left? As someone who likes to create different characters with unique backstories in Royale High, I'm really glad this is being adressed. Most of the characters I make are feminine even though I love making masculine characters just as much because of the accessories and toggles available right now. I also hardly ever wear my masculine outfits because of the massive difference in how I'm treated by other players, it really is insane. I hope the RH team will take action!

I think there should be more diverse body types, like you can choose the height, how long the legs or torso are. Their physique. I would also like the option to be able to move around your eyes, mouth, and custom markings around. I really think they should make it possible to choose custom colors for hair colors and face colors (eyes, mouth, custom markings).

I usually tend to dress feminine, but I've been wanting to start dressing more masculine so I can make more ocs. With the new sets and lack of options for hairs, faces, and accessories, I have been finding it very hard. (I also got hacked so it's ten times harder now lol) I completely agree with everything you said. I hate to see people getting treated weirdly in a game because of what they dress as, it's not that hard to get your weird thoughts and bad opinions to yourself people. I just hope the Royale High dev team can get this solved soon. I'd also like to see them make the trading hub a bit more secure so people who are/were hacked (like me) don't get their stuff stolen. I'm talking like answering one of those questions only you would know and if it's wrong you aren't able to trade for a certain amount of time. Idk, I think it'd be very helpful for a lot of people. Because they couldn't be bothered to make different versions of sets, so they just made the masc body a copy of the fem, without the chest. And the actual male body, is unusable with new items.

Royale high doesn’t owe us anything, but if they want to keep players in the game, this is not the way to do it! Removing masc toggles= saying that “we do not want males in our game, you are not welcome here” And when the males leave, there are some female players that are friends with the males! As a woman, one of my male friends has left due to this change. And if a male friend leaves, then a female friend will also leave. I hope royale high changes their mind. Thank you so much for covering this topic. It’s awesome seeing people with louder voices speak up for the players who might have a bit harder time being heard. As a masc player I have been followed around countless times by feminine players while they tried to force me to date them. I always got so uncomfortable I simply closed Roblox. With the release of the new school things have only gotten worse it seems. I had a girl FOLLOW ME into the shower and proceed to attack me calling ME a creep while she had followed me into that space and continued to chase me until I blocked her and left the realm.

I think they should Add 4 different body types for both masc and fem toggle - 1. The nutral body which represents both men and women(like how the sniw swan set looks like right now) 2. A normal masc/female body which is nutral body but slightly modified (similar to how they old sets look ) 3. A muscular body type ( similar to how the sp set is but for both men and women) 4. A plus sized body for both men and women toggle (this js the most important one 5.On top of all the toggle they need to add the scaling system they are taking about for further customization 6.they should not make any body type that look super unrealistic (like how December dream set female toggle looks) 7. They need to get all body proportions right (like how firrplays does ) No 3 isn't needed they can just add it too no 2 Thats about the body type situation now lets talk about the representation problem's solution: 1. They need to add more male hairs and accs 2. They need to do thier research on different cultures before implementing them in game 3.They should hier or ask someone who knows about different cultures 4. They should add another aspect to the RH seasons : different Major cultural events For example: Lunar new year for Chinese new year or Crescent festival for Ramadan Rainbow festival for Pride month which are like a small corner of the castle Heart , they wipl be like mini events along with the main events . In this mini events they can get like 2-3 new accessories 5. They should add a Toggle to every set that covers all your body for modesty reasons (like even Christian people likes to cover thier whole body so why not add it ) There are many more too you can leave them in the comments

Thank you so much for making our voices heard on this- and thank you as well for pointing out that the issue extends far beyond just the new body types. As a cis male who has been playing since 2017 it was very disappointing to feel like the game was heading in a worse direction in this regard, not only for my fellow cis male players but also for my fellow trans & nonbinary players as well. While I know many people who have used this game as an escape, personally I have used it as a way to develop and experiment with my own personal sense of fashion to help me in real life, and it even was partially responsible for bringing me out of a major wardrobe malfunction a few years ago and giving me more overall confidence. Obviously the game is getting more advanced, but the issue is that it feels like its mainly getting more advanced for feminine players and tending to neglect the interests of those who want to appear more masculine. I think it would be a good move for the developers to do some research to be able to create more distinguishably masculine accessories, sets, hairstyles, and faces, or they could maybe add more people to the team who can specialize in it if it's not within their current capacity. I do agree that the game is built around diversity, inclusivity, customization & the freedom for individuality & self-expression, so I hope they start to take our concerns regarding our ability to express ourselves more seriously. The slider system they mentioned is a good start, but there's still a lot more that would need to change or be added to tackle the larger overlying issue.

I'm a trans male who is also chubby and I always made my characters so different from me because there was no way of making my own character fit myself. Having to almost play into the role of a feminine man, but it made it so hard to put the trans perspective on my characters that way.{Not that there aren't feminine trans males out there, I am half and half masc and fem as a trans male.} When I can't even get a slimmer of the masculine or big form I have, I feel so small compared to what I really am. I stopped playing back in 2021 because I just couldn't handle the weird clothes in the end and the way I had to play out a character I was not.

at the point Royale high is going, they don't seem to be working on the masculine body type at all, as multiple updates seem to be dropping out. It seem that the scale will only drop out in 2025 or late 2024 ( know Royale high's history ). No word or no communication is being used about it, again the lack of communication is horrible. For the full advent calendar, iv watched my female friends jump in cheer for the things they have gotten, ( hairs, dresses, human arms, human bodice, sleeves, heel/shoes , bodices, female accessories, female makeup, female eyes/mouths ). all iv felt like iv gotten out of the advent were the dorm items. its kind of pushed me away from Royale high.

I've made attempts to make outfits with the new toggles, and I'm a generally very fem masculine player. I do not like the new toggles as they feel kind of like a weird little bobblehead was my main issue. My main outfits are usually the old masc body but with skirts, pastel pinks, and generally 'fem' appearances except for a a few points, but the new toggles are just too small and feel kind of off-putting.

I found out an outfit hack the other day, 1st toggle of cozy sweater and the 4th masc toggle for the academia uniform, it makes it look like a cute vest (from the front at least), but that just goes to show that the masc toggles are still so feminine that it seems only girl or fem presenting players can use them

Hello, Non-Binary & Masc player here! I recently saw there was a new set and was actually very excited to try it on, but instead of using the try-on feature that was provided, I carelessly farmed and bought the new shoes. I do love them, I won't lie. They're absolutely stunning, but the ONLY way I could make it work was to ITEM dump on them to cover up the gap, or use a more feminine body type. I do not feel represented whatsoever with the recent update. It's upsetting as a 5+ year player to see us go from not having much representation in 2018-2019 due to lack of items, to having more masculine items during 2020-2022, to hardly being represented again. Honestly, I have thought of retiring as a player, due to lack of respect and representation within this community. Ultimately, I have decided against it out of hope that the developers might bring attention to this issue.

They need to have both if they want to be diverse. The thing is that a more stereotypically 'masculine' form is what you get in almost every other videogame where you can play a male-bodied character ever, and usually in terms of specific build, you'll always be carrot shaped and the muscles range from bulging and entirely unnatural looking to 'lithe'. A softer, more feminine, but still flat-chested and 'male' shape that can be used with traditionally feminine clothing items is something you practically never see in a game and this is the first time I personally feel represented in a game I like. I don't have to click a big female gender sign or accept an avatar with massive breasts and jiggle physics to put my avatar in clothing I think is pretty, and that feels really nice. I also like styling the more traditionally masculine pieces, but it's a much more impersonal enjoyment, the sort I'm used to with most other games. I wasn't sure about the new system at first, but when I put on the flat version of the new snow swan top, I was immediately enamored and delighted, and my first thought was 'That looks like I look when I bind! I can't wait to wear shirts with that kind of neckline after I get top surgery!'. That is I think the first time I have literally *ever* felt that way at the sight of a customizable videogame avatar.

the toggles shouldn't be sorted by gender, they should be all on one page like the ttyl and snow swan sets. all toggles including the "male and female". then you can put the corset or top on any body. its not just the tops that need changed, all the items with toggles need this.

Thank tou for talking about this!!!, as a masculine player i was really struggling to even look like a man until i had decent items, but the new Masculine Toggles are not really representing masculine players, they had the kdea with the steampunk set and it was spot on so thats why all of masculine players used it, as for the human part stuff, i eish they realsed it when it was fully ready, and for the masculine players being chased and treated differently, ive experienced it before, i wish its not like that, irs creepy and sometimea makes me leave the game, The new bodies are making roleplaying more dead than ir ever was, first fantasia was removed and now masculine toggles are not looking like masculine, so its hard to roleplay with this set up, thank you cyber for talking about this, thank you so much!!

In my opinion this is so real, since they “reworked” the darling valentine bodice Royale high went downfall with their new toggles or reworks or new sets, like there is no set in Royale high that has like a little more of weight in it, every set is skinny at least, I’m not saying that everything has to be for overweight people is just the way they make sets like shoes or bodice they make them with notorious waist like if there isn’t any other type of bodies, and that’s where it starts the insecurity on people with their own bodies and how they badly want some waist too, we are already in 2024 and they really have to change and everytime they are going to make a new set think of both female and male bodies making them both have maximum the same toggles and the types of bodies like skinny, fat and somehow a normal weight btw im sorry if any words have attacked someone I’m not good at English so if I wrote something wrong just tell me 😭

Honestly I have stuff 2 say abt this but I can’t quite type,it out. But honestly for me I struggle with expression, and I like the option of being able to have more feminine looks and more masculine looks. The issue, though with masculine is that I feel like there’s a lot more limits, and less ways that I can be creative not only through items, but with custom faces, hair, and accessories. I impractically giving up on trying to make male outfits do to just how hard it is sometimes to find things that piece together.,,,

I was editing my journal ingame and some girl came up to me and randomly started making weird compliments about me, I flew off tho.

I spoke about this on my server and my friend said how the devs are basically saying “they are basically saying the basically pushing the normal stereotypes in the game.” Which I agree with, I have at least 4 male friends who play Royale high and they tell me how much they hate how they took away the masc body. To me it seems like some of the devs are favouring female the players. The male players barely have any just masculine sets while the female players have lots of female only sets. We need more masculine only sets to include the male players. Inclusivity doesn’t just mean adding any religious stuff like hijabs or adding black hair styles. It mean including both gender stuff to. The masculine players barely get any new hairs for updates, sets and etc. we need to include the masculine players more. Some people don’t want to look like twinks. One of my Royale high male friends are trans and they don’t like how the body looks more feminine then masculine as they can only express their masculinity in Roblox and not irl due to personal reasons. So Royale high, PLEASE include your Royale high players because they could leave your game. I love Royale high and don’t agree with any of the threats but listen to your community because the players are keeping your game alive. We need a good masculine set, we need more masculine hairs and masculine faces that look masculine. If I knew how to make good masculine hairs and faces I would, but unfortunately I don’t know how to do that stuff so I hope that I find some masculine faces or hairs in the next updated because we need them.

a Thing that bothers me is that there is only feminin (which is like super thin corset and stuff) and then there is masculine (which is most of the time look more muscular? (it's kinda hard to describe i'm sorry)) i'm non binary (with a lil bit more on the male side (i'm born female)) and in real life i like to do looks that look like a combination of both and i feel like in royale high you can't really do that so i tend to do more feminin styles which sometimes makes me feel like i have to detransition or like in general makes me feel like i look to feminin in the game.

The body type issues is one of the main reasons I get so frustrated playing royale high, the fact that there's hardly anything for androgynous people or masculine people that looks good or let's the player have variety drives me insane. At the end of the day, its a roleplay and character creation day, but if you're only allowed to make skinny fem presenting characters, then what's the point? The masc side is constantly looked over with the idea that "its not as important because not as many boys play the game" when that's just a generalized sexist idea - not to mention, ever since they moved over to exclusively only letting certain artists have their face or hair creations in the game, the masculine side rarely gets any meaningful additions or updates; I used to be a makeup artist for the game, I made sure I did just as many fem faces as I did masc faces but nowadays there's a huge gap between the two styles. Part of why I liked playing royale high when I was still active on it was being able to make varieties of different characters, now it just feels like the devs only care about adding in items that appeal to what seems like a fetishization of gay men or androgynous people.

Also I'd like to say, around the beginning of the campus 3 update since my level was around 1000, I was exploring the new map and checking out the new areas and updated my light fairy who is a male character - I spawned in one day and to my extreme discomfort, a girl who had been walking away previously, then saw me spawn in, walked back up to me and asked "whimper audio when? 👅💦💦" It's not a fun experience simply trying to exist in a masculine setting on royale high, people who decide to fetishize masc presenting players in the game shouldn't be on roblox at all in my humble opinion.

I'd also like to point out, when I started playing royale high in 2019 the 2D clothing filters for the masculine side were broken, as in trying to choose a color or a style does not work - it is now 2024 and to my knowledge, it is still broken.

I have some problems about Royal after they add the new school 1:very laggy on mobile 2:too much animation on teleporting and on about to teleport 3:that annoying invisible wall in the musical chairs that cancel you from moving to the chair for 15 Sec 4:too many animation on the map Yes there is to many animation and it makes me so laggy

I agree with you wholeheartedly. As a trans man who has played royale high since 2018 and recently started making masculine outfits in 2022, I've noticed that masculine players get half of what feminine players get. I brushed it off as "Oh, it's a princess game, what do I expect?" but we're being DEPRIVED of any and everything, it's getting quite absurd. Hairs that they added in 2021 can be seen in the masculine hair styles. Since october 2021, (approx) we've gotten about 13 hairstyles total. Fem players have gotten over 60 ((approx.)) And I'm sorry, but the hairstyles we have aren't that amazing. This is why masculine players have resulted tIto using UGC instead of in-game hairs. The girls have no such problem, you can scroll for minutes and find a good hair, for us, there's maybe a few. People like to dog us for using the same accessories and how we're just copy and pasting but how do they not get it? We DON'T have that many items tailored specifically for us. They have their trends and most of them are cute. Our trends get DOGGED. I swear, the headless trend, the skirt trend, the turtleneck trend? People make fun of it, and I get that to an extent, but we're making with what we have here. Which isn't a lot. Masculine players have been a second thought for months, if not years now. Tbh, I as a trans guy have more or less given up on presenting masculinely in RH. I have exactly one character who's masc, and the rest are girls, one feminine enby, and a handful of feminine men. For the men and the enby I just add the pronouns or "prince" in parentheses in the name, but even then I've had MANYYY a guy tell me "this is the boys' room" when I'd use the boys' bathroom to change for the dance. 😮‍💨
