Royale High’s classes are broken. Here’s how I redesigned them.

I love this video! I agree with this so much! I think Royale High has so much potential to teach the next generations who play ROBLOX basic math and computer skills in such a fun, enjoyable, and rewarding way. This will especially make kids enjoy their real school more when they learn these subjects and they will even be like "Hey! This is from Royale High!" I love this concept.

Hmm, if the player is in middle school, (not saying I am) the periodic table can be used. Such as, "What does C stand for on the periodic table?" and you'd get 4 answers with one of them being correct. Also, "What is an element?"

I love the ideas, but royale high has a young fan base. So the developers have to make it easier for the younger audience. So for chemistry, probably they would have to make it easier, as it might not make much sense to the younger audience.

I think this would be really good, but there should also be an option for the original classes to pop up so very young players can still play along with other players! It may be hard to believe, but we were doing those same atom games in science class and most of the class found it difficult even though it was simple math, and an 8'th grade level class. I still think these would be amazing so students could learn these skills before they learn it in school, but an easier version should still be an option!

I totally agree, I love this idea and I am glad that you brought this up. Integrating learning and playing a fun game is a very genius idea since the game has so much potential, and including these skills that you’ve thought of could make it even better and more engaging. Great job, Jen & Chrissy 😁 I also have other ideas for other classes: -Baking Class: Measurement conversion or mathematical skills to bake a cake like adding fractions because math is a major thing used in baking -Art Class: Questions on Color Theory, this is very simple but can improve the player’s knowledge on colors instead of just copying a painting because I don’t think more than half of the players know what analogous or tertiary colors are (just because most players are young). Perhaps, the class can change each day from color theory to copying a painting. - Literature Class: The class is already good by itself, teaching the concept of correct grammar but I think it would be most useful and helpful if the questions changed or added more since if players already know what the answer is from attending this class over and over again, I think that it could even more greatly improve grammar correction if they corrected DIFFERENT various sentences instead if the ones just given. I also think that RH could add on a math class again (because it was apparently deleted for the bakery class update) and do simple problems like adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication but not too complex because, again, this is a role playing game and not meant to be doing math problems that may be challenging for people. I also think that the library could be more used by either learning the basics of the Dewey decimal system or just including a few interactive books that could actually be read-this can be used for people who are bored and for people who make content in RH. These were just my ideas and it is completely okay if you don’t agree with them!

I also think they should make it less competition-based, because mostly you are competing against the other players around to see who is the fastest/best. Like when you mess up or get something wrong, you shouldn't feel bad (especially if you didn't even know how to figure it out!) instead it should be a learning opportunity. For example, with the computer class(if they are going to keep the typing based learning I really think they should change it to typing class instead.) you should be able to type and after you can see what mistakes you made, and then it will change the lessons to help you advance on the things you struggle with. Honestly in my opinion they should just get rid of the competition and grades completely. And one other thing I would like to comment about is Royale high should also have flexible schedules, like real life. There needs to be more classes that you can choose from and you should be able to pick which classes you want. Might as well have a bigger server, too. I just think being able to choose what some of your classes are can really improve the education in this game. You can choose the topics you are interested in and learn more things about them! The devs just need to make the schools more interactive overall.

Royale high one actually has a great idea for computer classes I love how they had the setences added and you had to type it down and finish it but I really would like to see a longer paragraph for the 13+ players I would really like to see English class improve because we only get to press on buttons I really hope royale high fixes these classes and makes it more challenging for everyone!

They should do where depending on your level you can choose how hard the classes are! Like math, if you’re level 10 you can’t choose how hard it is, you get basic addition and as you go the math gets harder and once you reach level 50 you can choose addition and subtraction and so on. And with world building/English/spelling you can choose how hard it gets as you level is higher! It’d be so much fun and honestly I suck at math and I’m at a high level in rh, so this would be GREAT practice for me, and I’d like math a lot more since I’d be having fun!

your first idea for computer class is in the old royal high computer class's campus with writing sentences though I wish it was in the new school too. I also like your other ideas as it seems fun to me though of course it would have something to explain how it works because some people might not know this stuff or something or they might but it would be a great early learning experience (especially since I feel like school it self teaches us well but not as much for some other things we might need to know or want to for our own future "mold") and personally for me I knew all the things you mentioned except for protons and neutrons though I'm not sure if I'll learn it yet or not. Though maybe soon since I'm coming closer to high school. *Edit: continuing off of that maybe also a setting that gives you these easy classes though still because some people might feel discouraged if they're having trouble understanding and so you get more diamonds or xp for doing these class and less for the easy ones or maybe not but it's an idea to also encourage people to want to do more of the less easy version yet possibly easy or whatever)* *2nd Edit: Another thing is with the new school coming it gives me hope for this maybe possibly after hearing your idea**

Great idea, but my little cousin and all her classmates love playing royale high…they’re all 5-6….she would probably start crying or something if this became more than a concept. I’m in 7th grade though [(taking all 8th gr adv classes) i say this because my interests in learning are different than others]and I would personally love the new “level.” I personally feel like there should at least be options between the two learning levels though.

But the reason they made these classes easy is because there are so many people under 12 that are playing Roblox…for example my brother is 7 and he plays roblox and he can’t even read yet🎶🎵. The creator of royal high made it easy because it has to be understandable for all ages👍. I definitely agree with this video! I think if we tell our parents we are learning whilst playing our favourite game, they would be more likely to let us play and for more time! Also, that would really liven up RHS and give you a bit more to do! It could also help with your classes in real life! I agree with this fully, if children from all ages start learning useful things such as these in a positive view point; their actual school experience would be much better and easier with prior knowledge. And I think what could make this better is the units/topics are random along with the questions, for example: one 'day' science class is covering circuits with questions about parallel and series and the next is covering newton's laws with questions about inertia, to keep players on their toes and to make sure players don't get bored while attending classes. This would overall build a skillset for a variety of subjects while being fun and rewarding! Also giving the players more questions about subjects/units/topics they struggle in or don't answer well in most of the time would act like an actual teacher. And maybe at the end of each year or every few months RH can hold a test on all subjects to see how they have improved over time and rewarding them for it! :)

I really like the idea of introducing algorithm/pseudocode, Scratch etc in the Royale High computer classes. Even if there kids of small age groups who have yet to learn about this, Royale High can always give a tutorial at the start of computer class. 😊

Although the ideas are AMAZING, the chemistry class is for older kids while most times, younger kids, won’t understand. BUT, taking inspiration from ‘Work at a Pizza Place’, both younger and older kids can still play Royale High, simple by adding a button asking if you would like the advanced version of the class and vise versa. 😁👍

personally, i love this idea. i also have some other suggestions/ideas: *Math Class:* Addition and subtraction equations! You have 5-10 seconds to answer each question. Get the sum. *Art Class:* Shelves are scattered around the year, each self has different equipment: Glue, paper, cardboard, markers, pencils, etc. You will be given a cardboard box, you have to transform the box into a DIY robot. To do this, you have to pick up the items on he shelves and bring them back to your desk to build your robot. You can also change the colours and shapes of the body, eyes, etc of the robot.

I love this concept! I tried to build on it, and add a few of my thoughts as well. There's also a couple of hiccups in the classes, so I did my best to find solutions to them as well. My ideas aren't perfect of course, so further suggestions are welcome. RH players are of many different ages, which brings us to a small problem. Someone your age would find these classes to be fairly easy, while a very young child would find them quite challenging. Perhaps you could implement difficulty levels? Like, easy, medium, and hard mode. Easy mode aimed for young children, medium mostly for pre-teens to teens, and hard for people in their late teens through adulthood (of course, you wouldn't have to choose the level according to your age, these are just rough guidelines). Diamond farmers would also be able to spend less time having to think about the problems, and wouldn't have to worry about getting a low grade with this system. You could also add alternating days, to mix up the classes a bit. Many middle/high schools have an A day/B day system, which could make the classes have more variety as well as base it off an actual system. Randomized classes could also work, where the game would basically roll a die and choose from different classes for the period. Tests/exams could be something to consider as well. Perhaps instead of homework for certain classes, you could quiz yourself on a study guide. That would also get players into the habit of studying, which is a pretty necessary skill. All in all, I agree with this a lot. The classes in RH are a great idea, but the actual implementation falls short. Great video as always, looking forward to seeing more concept style videos like this!

For baking we could use like adding fractions it’s simple math and it would be like Put in 3/4 of milk A. 1/4+1/4+2/4 B. 2/4+1/4 C. 1/3+2/8+8/5 We can also have “advanced classes and Normal classes” or something cause it would be hard for like the 1st and 2nd graders that play (I have a few younger cousins who play in those grade)

All school systems are different and this one might be learning this at that time but another school hasn't taught the kids that topic yet etc. It might be difficult for the kids that don't know how to do those calculations and all.

I am in highschool and I play royale high A LOT I think if this was added in the game it would help me A LOT I also think your idea is super awsome and I hope that one day this would be added

the computer one is actually in the old royale high school, which I find very weird, being that the "old" royale high school has more STEM skills, they also have a class dedicated to performing arts (music) The computer class involves typing the sentences the fastest to beat your peers, so they obviously dumbed it down.

I disagree this might be good for older kids but you aren't thinking about the little kids who will have a hard with this and I can see little kids spamming the dislike button because of this. Computer class - I agree with the first thing you said we should type out the words but the rest I don't agree with.... Chemistry class - I very much disagree with this like you aren't thinking of the little kids most kids don't even know how do Chemistry and I know they will get upset and throw a fit because they don't know what to do. Before someone says that i am just disagreeing because I am a boy well I am a girl. I am just trying to look out for the smaller kids

Your idea is awesome! Though it would be too hard for the younger part of the audience, BUT, that also made me think, because then the books could actually have a use other than just giving extra exp, so I think it would be cool if the books actually taught you how to handle the chemistry class, and every other class, then we'd have a reason to actually take the books, again, I agree with what you said, it would help people learn irl, and I think it would be more engaging, and encourage more people to go to the new school in rh, if royale high had this, I'd actually go there instead of farming and trading all day. I'd be especially happy if it came to the new school, new map, and new, more fun classes to do! Love your idea, it has a lot of potential too!

though i agree with this and the class seem fun..it might be harder for some kids if they do not understand properly and could get frustrated and their experience with RH could be ruined. but other than that it would be great for learning and making the classes more enjoyable + expanding the players skills!

i love these ideas although, i feel as though the chemistry class may be confusing, a lot of young children play roblox and royale high and most likely haven't learnt about this and would get confused, a game isn't really that fun when it confuses you with a fake class, i think changing it again to make it bit simpler but it not being the coloured tubes would be much more not only fun but understanding for younger people
