She was *determined* to raise “her boys” as normally as possible: “You want to see a movie? Great, let’s get in line to buy tickets.” “You want McDonald’s? Great, let’s get in line to order.” But then she also took them to visit homeless and hospice. The lessons at least stuck with william, as there was a video (may still be a video) here on youtube, he and catherine were visiting somewhere, they were greeting a reception line, William was “leading.” One of the people in the reception line, a man, was in a wheelchair, dying from AIDS, William could just be heard to say, “how many months do you have left?” And the man said, “more like days, sir.” William can be heard calling to catherine to come meet the man, the video ends just as she’s walking over.
