Royer Oscillator Flyback Driver

Are Royer and push-pull the same? I was using the dual BJT circuit for years with excellent performance and no capacitors in the circuit. Not the most efficient energy-wise but it finds its own frequency which is nice.

47nf polister capacitor is the best for Royer oscillator not zvs. And 1 diode with capacitor less power supply is the best.
