I used UB508DF transistor and it didn’t make any archs and got very hot in 10 seconds, i used everything like in the schematic besides the transistor, can anyone help me please?

i made that circuit with tip35c and it is working pretty good, I became very hot arcs and have between 10-20 Kilovolt.

I know this video is at LEAST 12 years old but still it's useful!! Really helped me with beginning level building my own synth. I'm late to the game cuz I've been a hands on musician all my life and only just decided to get into synth instruments due to worsening health problems. Are Royer and push-pull the same? I was using the dual BJT circuit for years with excellent performance and no capacitors in the circuit. Not the most efficient energy-wise but it finds its own frequency which is nice.

I used one with 32V . The flyback transformer had an Center tab so 3 pins to connect . The interesting thing is that the transformer blew up before the mosfets did.

Hello i have the same zvs driver but mine was dead after like 1 minute of making sparks with a flyback. Can someone explain what killed my zvs driver? I made like 3 sparks and while driver was on (it was on but i was not making sparks at the moment) i saw a little blink and suddenly my driver was shorted. I powered it from 12V DC 50W power supply. I don't know what about the fets but diodes are dead. Can someone explain why it happened?

Hello sir can you help me please Im strugeling for days finding corect circuet for me distributor hei ignitiin system. Me set up (pick up coil 2 wires,4pin gm ignition module and E core type ignition coil). Me goal is to some how retard ignition timing or advance it electricaly. Be placeing a circuet to the pick up coil ore to the gm 4 pin ignition module. Im struggeling in winter time to start me car so I wuld like to electricaly eliminate that problem. Only problem I dont know what to use?? Variabel inductor,variabel resistor? Because Im not shure what to use voltage manipulation circuet or frequency manipulation circuet? I do have that flyback transformer and some variabel inductors from small electronic devices . Perhaps you know more about sound devices ore some thing that can help me please .
