Hey, Roy! Great work on this. You should totally get the original button overlays for the arcade cabinets, and the rule sheets that go under the screen. That adds sooo much to the feeling. ... and a change machine and a quarter count. :) This is a great idea otherwise. I spent way too much of my life in arcades.

Thanks Taylor MemoRift is just a platform, you can add any arcade game you want, all you need to do is customize the way the machine looks (colors, marquee, controls, side art) and point it at the correct emulator and rom. As for demo... soon :)

Awesome!! I really miss the old arcade halls and I would love to try your demo out. Now add a real arcade stick controller, ControlVR arms and fingers and maybe most importantly a synced up virtual/real cigarette smoking ability. (And I don't even smoke)

I try this and I don't like the control schemes. I say why not change it or make another type!? a good control scheme would be like one you use in a 3D modeling software. like in blender! you have a 3D manipulator for all 3 main axis X, Y and Z. -Shift+middlemouse = Panning/rotate, -right click = Grab/selection/ -left click = placement of cursor(you simple place this cursor somewhere in the room and the object you have selected would jump to that location). very handy little gizmo. -Lctrl = group selection with lasso(good for selecting group of objects at ones and placing or aligning them in place). -more Modes = it's better than only free mode! with this you can switch between modes. such as play mode, edit mode, lock/unlock selective items in place mode and you can still have free mode.

Have you heard of Anarchy Arcade? A guy named Elijah Newman-Gomez developed something very similar to this. He even made it possible host your own arcade in multiplayer. Only difference was he didn't have virtual magazines and multiple arcade machines playing simultaneously, which I think is a huge plus! He has his demo free to download at anarchyarcade.com If you somehow combined projects it could be insanely awesome! *Wishful Thinking*. But he's very accessible if you ever want contact him.

Sure Roy, won't having you to risc any copyright infrightment here, so please leave out the roms ... It would be nice if you could keep the artwork ... We have 4 real arcade-machines and a pinball (1973) on the roof, so this would save me and the kids a cold trip in the winter-times, cause there's no heating up there ;/))) best summerholiday wishes from Spain & Denmark
