I bloody LOVED Fink and his dynamic with Roz. Roz reminded me so much of Baymax while being so different at the same time. When I first saw the announcement trailer I was excited, then the second trailer came out and the animals talked and I was sceptical ngl. I thought they would turn this into more of a "baby" movie....and then I watched the movie today and wow this was not a baby movie. Like the way they showed death and discussed the concept of survival and death so many times, being as spoiler free and vague as possible was so....different and interestingly done. This felt a lot like people from the last wish puss in boots movie worked on it because of the whole death and survival thematic being pretty much an essential part of the movie. Very well done, I liked it a dang lot, please more movies like this thank you

this looks somewhat similar to transformers one, in the sense that- this may look bad in the trailers but may actually be pretty good. also just thought for once how scary it is that all the animals understand eachother, since they all would speak in different languages normally- bear can't speak fox only body language and stuff, but having a robot go rogue and gain sentience, but then unify the entire animal kingdom by crossing the language barrier with evolved versions of all the animals we have today where they can have semi understanding and empathy, and then leading a mini army of a whole forest- that is a terrifying thought- XD

I haven't watched the movie yet and would likely be one of the late watchers in theatre. The movie is getting praised as a masterpiece but I am seeing a lot of criticism for Vontra. People praising her VA but she is kind of shoehorned in the third act for the sake of a climax. This might be one of the movies that are overall great or amazing but the villains are weak or forgettable - Zootopia, Frozen, Big Hero 6, etc.

@@AnujChatterjee-q5b [Spoilers] I would argue she fills a plot hole of roz's creators designing such a sophisticated machine and lacking the motive or advancements required to reobtain it, vontra represents the plan and advancements made to reobtain their fancy everything-bot and was made capable of doing exactly that I will agree with the stance the collateral damage came off wasteful, for example while the geese were in the farming enclosure they were shown destroying their own equipment and risking further contamination in order to rid themselves of the geese, even with current tech we do a better job with those sorts of situations so it comparatively came off as the movie desperately looking to have an action sequence back to vontra the simple fact that she's a machine makes her blatant heartlessness easier to digest than bellwether, hans, and robert as their motivations don't line up with their actions, it also helps that vontra isn't a character we meet earlier in the movie for them to try to hide she'll be a major threat to the main characters
