A couple questions and I apologize if you have answered them in other videos but there are things I wish to know in relation to creating my game. 1. Is it at all possible to create NPCs that you can then turn into common enemies or boss characters? 2. I see you can create optional dialogue. Is it possible to create multiple paths that may alter the events of the game such as whether a character lives or dies, similar to the walking dead for example? 3. Is there a way or plug-in to bring a perma-death mechanic into the game? 4. If so, is there a way to make it character specific? Here is a scenario. Say I want every party member that comes into my game beyond the two protagonists to be given a perma death mechanic, can that happen? To expand on this scenario, say I have a boss fight fairly early into the game. Once you defeat this character you would be given different options of dialogue and while the game does not spell out the effects of your decisions for you, the path you take could determine whether or not you simply defeat this boss and move on or have him join your party. At this point the boss turned party member would remain in your party for as long as it could as long as it could stay alive as once any party member beyond the two leads will be gone forever upon death. Could I do that or is this beyond the softwares capability?

1. Yes, if you add a switch to activate a second page you can change the sprite if required, otherwise it's just a matter of setting up the battle. 2.Yes you can have "if commands" that create alt paths in a single event, you can save these changes to other events using switches or variables. 3. If you want the character to be removed you can remove them from the party and never add them back in. 4.Again yes just like four you can remove the character from your party and not add them back in, creating the effect of a death in terms of not being able to use them. As for adding a boss you just have to make a new actor that reflects this boss character and add them to the party. As for choice, use "show choices" with the answers leading to a "if command".

I downloaded a few packs from the RPG Maker website in order to have more clothing customisation options in the game. But I haven't managed to find out a way to actually put them in the character generator to use. Would be grateful if you could help out.

Yes, The files just need to be placed into their respective folders and make sure they use the same size value as the files in use or switch the values around with a plugin.

Nothing in the character generator is useful to me. I want to give my character twin buns, but the closest I got was twin braids. Pants don't exist, and I have to design everything myself from scratch in MS Paint. I just want to know how to draw my character some pants for her to wear. Edit: Just downloaded as much DLC as I could fit in my Steam library, and after figuring out how to import files from one folder to another (with copious amounts of trial and error), I can actually listen to the instructions now and MY GOD did this teach me loads of information that I previously did not know! This could streamline my entire character creation process!

Just need to slap that custom art into the generator folder that should be located in the programs root files, along with art menus. Oh and you'll need to make the name it what the other pictures are called plus a number past the last customized image.

Go to "Database" and the "Actors tab", Press delete on the members you want out of the start. To add a party member go to the event tab; Page 1, "Party" "Change Party Members"

Yes get rid of the actors in the 'gears'/'database' icon. Lower the maximum and then delete them. I say to lower the maximum even if you will add members later because if you leave the slots, shadows will appear in battle (side-view). It looks weird.

I think they were added in a later update for RPG Maker MV. 1.1 is the update, I believe. If you have RPG Maker MV on Steam, just update on there, otherwise, you need to get the update files from the RPG Maker forums.

SumRndmDde I have 1.2 but mine's through their website not steam heh so maybe that is why. Not really sure tbh but I got the stuff I was missing from a friend though. Something prolly went wrong during the update for me, wouldn't be the first time heh >.< (could have also been because I had parts with those numbers already too in my customized generator since I make the parts myself too though so those may have overrit the others and not allow them to appear in the list) Thanks again for explaining that though heh! David Malaky All the pieces in this video are from the default generator. The reason you might not have them is due to a lack of updating MV or obtaining it illegally. :p

Yes however you'll have to make a drawing of that character to use in combat or if you want to use the sideview battle sprites; you'll need a plugin called "Animated Sideview Enemies" and "Battle Engine Core" from Yanfly.
