Well, I am supposed to be a community manager and you left me speechless. We would like to thank you for this amazing video. The research you've put into this is...HUGE! I mean 75% of the things you say are things we are trying to hide, but I guess now everything is out there. And this shows that this channel is special. We usually approach reviewers and influencers and what happens is that we pay, they repeat our press release and that's it...Everyone should support your channel more than our product. Journalism and KZbin need people like you. and since you said you do not like the name "Wrath of Devs" and at the same time you revealed things we didn't think someone could find let me also take the risk and say: -Wrath of Devs, as a name, is an easter egg that hides all the points you just made. We can not go around and say these things you just did, so we included all of them in a name :P -We are definitely bad at marketing since we offer so much and we are not making millions. The power of this tool for DMs and players is insane. Even if you just love nothing more than freely building cool little worlds with all the included assets and taking screenshots (like me) it's an amazing package

I have to say, this does sound intriguing.. Although my current gaming circumstances preclude the possibility of using a tool such as this, I'm always keen to see what is available, and this does seem like a particularly promising development. World-building is one of my favourite parts of this hobby, and any tools that aid the creative process are most welcome.

I run some games using Tabletop Simulator as my 3D VTT because of the custom asset and Steam Workshop support. But it has its eccentricities and making maps takes a long time. The map generator feature of this has me deeply intrigued. I'll pitch it to my groups.

I think that is a pitfall we could fall into with any 3D map maker - trying to "fill out" the entire map. IMO less is more. It's nice to know we have all those options and we can use them for specific encounters but I might go very basic for run of the mill encounter areas etc. With this kickstarter they have the dungeon builder which looks very helpful.

Hmm. I am thinking strongly about this just because of the worldbuilding. Especailly the Roman empire part since my campaign is bronce age inspired. That was a very useful video.

Serendipitous indeed. I found them on steam a couple days ago. I was looking for RPGs to scratch my itch, wasn't looking to purchase a VTT. I do vote with my wallet, I don't give WotC any more of my money. But to give that money to someone else? That's like voting twice. Supporting third party creators is also important in growing the community as a whole. Also... If I pledge what I might've spent on 3-4 official WotC books, I get a fun DM tool and unlimited player invites. And that's a one time expense? Sold.

Our new world along with our combo of old-school-newschool combat rules we feel will give folks a well thought-out product at a fraction of the cost. VTTs are great. I don't use them since I play solo but I imagine they would be a great tool especially the AI generated environments. I could probably even 'program' it run Mythic or One Page Solo Engine. Does it have support for playing cards? I should check that out.

There are only so many Kickstarter out there that I can support - I wish them well with their project but I will wait until general release. Great work on this video though - will always watch your videos - long or short. :)

The "general release" would be in name only. People are running steady, consistent games with the software as-is. I dont even know why its still in "early access," as the program itself is more stable and useable than many VTTS already on the market.

How was Brave Alice Games able to contact the Constructo backers? I never did Kickstarter... are the backers data out there for everybody to use or did Playloop Studios give them to BAG? I'm - pointlessly, yes, I know in what times we live - still protective of my data.

Good gravy! Love the dress code man! I have an 1860-ish/space cowboy outfit, from the Brown Coat, Firefly series. Complete with space pistol. Love the genre of 1800's and steampunk fantasy. Nice vid on VTT.

The biggest - and probably only - reason I will not be buying this tool is because it requires both the GM and players to buy separate licenses, and by using Steam that means if I have a player leave an a new player join - that is ANOTHER player copy either the player or I have to buy! I could not buy the GM version and say 4 player licenses that I can use for any 4 players to connect.

No, the players can use the Free Demo if the GM has the special unlocked seats version. A Brave Alice Games rep will pop in to explain.

Hello there! The "Unlock player seats" pledge upgrades your GM version and your players can join your games simply using the free demo. No need your players pay anything.

Oh yeah, the GM only needs the "Unlock player seats" and players join with the free demo. basically the same as Fantasy Grounds.

Your apprehension is not unreasonable, but as stated above, the "Player Seats" option is a very good investment (Especially for Pro-DMs) Besides that though, even if your select group decided to opt for a copy each, they would not need the full DM version, but the more inexpensive player versions, unless they themselves wish to DM with it (in which they'd be buying it anyways). Personally, I bit the bullet and got DM versions for my entire "friends-only" group (before they released the player seats) and I dont regret it one bit. That move alone got two players to try their hands at DMing.

Thanks! That channel appeals to the low hanging fruit so it'll be around a long time. It also harms our hobby by driving new players away. As for version, the Kickstarter has it at a greatly reduced price and it depends if you have players; for the players to only require the free demo version you need the unlocked seats version.
