Veprs in the USA do not have any restriction on firing the rifle when the rife is folded. The USA Federal minimum length for a "rifle" is 26" (66cm) minimum when folded, that is the only restriction. Some states like New York and California have the same 80cm or 31" length and do not allow folders at all.
