Zenitco PT-3 Stock Installation

Installation of the Zenitco PT-3 stock on an Arsenal SLR-104FR in 5.45 x 39mm. Going over how to remove your old stock, install a new one, and how to get a better fit if the stock is too tight or too loose on your specific rifle.

The stock on my ak74 is fixed and it has the triangle piece that forks out. Any way to mount this stock on it?

No, unless you perform significant modifications to the rifle. Zenitco makes the PT-5 however that will fit a fixed stock trunnion.

I have a KR-103 SFS, dust cover removed, field stripped, stock unlocked, upside down, pistol grip removed, in a vice mounted to my work bench. I have been hammering that pin for 30 minutes with brass and steel punches until I bent all my punches. Not a single movement of the pin, but thank god I haven't damaged anything on the rifle save some finish on the head of the pin. Any suggestions?

I was just struggling with an almost identical issue myself on another stock install on an overly tight pin. What worked for me was soaking it in Kroil (or any other penetrating oil) for a few hours and then hammering it using a fairly thick nail set rather than a regular punch. That should hopefully break free any potential corrosion that is in your pin and unless it's extremely stuck, the nail set shouldn't bend from hammering against it.

I noticed that you have another rifle with a Magpul Zhukov stock fitted, are those stocks compatible with this style rear trunnion? If not what are my options in terms of aftermarket stocks?

The Zhukov stock is not compatible with the side-folding rear trunnions. For side-folders you have less options than with the more common non-folding trunnion, but there's still a good amount of options. You could look into the KPYK stocks, an AR-15 buffer tube adapter like those from SAG USA, or a picatinny adapter so you could mount a Sig or JMac folding stock.

Ouch, I’m in SA and trying to import firearm accessories from the US is much like trying to fit a camel through the eye of a needle. I’ve tried ordering an MTM ammo box on Amazon and a literal plastic box got held up at customs because “ammo” is part of the product description. 🥲 Aftermarket support for the AK platform isn’t that great here, so unless restrictions are eased it’s Nyet rifle is fine. It's quite unfortunate how difficult a lot of Zenitco has gotten. As for the magazine, yes, I'm using an AK-12 magazine. I use it as my primary home defense magazine, and it works great.

Couple of things about game. Sometimes my ride shows up after I've killed a few dudes and there is one or two left. Other times he doesn't show up at all when all are dead. Some times I walk the map three times inch by inch and can not find the last. Can they be spawning out of bounds? I think your walking around speed is just a hair too slow. I also think you should have just a switch are button and not a left and right one. Sometimes it gets confusing when walking down and then start getting shot at. When is multiplayer coming out? Jk. I know that would be forever, but would be awesome. Oh. Should I post these somewhere else? Or is it fine whenever I see you vids come up?

Thanks for pointing that stuff out and yeah it's all good to post it on any of my videos. The exfil ride is supposed to show up on the Elimination objective after you kill all enemies or arrive after you kill the HVT in the Assassination objective. I didn't make that clear anywhere ingame so it that what's going on there? The enemies have a bunch of preset spawns so they'll always be on the map somewhere, but I could see it being annoying trying to hunt down the last few enemies, especially if they're hiding. I'll try upping the walking speed a little more. I had some other people mention it feels a little too slow as well. That's a good idea with switching shoulders. I'll add that in the future. I've been looking into how to implement multiplayer, especially co-op. I'm not sure how feasible it is with how the game is coded currently, especially with player input, but if I can make it work I definitely will try to add it, though that'll be after I get everything else done.

@@Feldmutze K. The ride thing makes more sense. I was hitting randomize a few times. So that explains that. I"ll play some more and see what's up. Oh.. and I don't see how I can miss hiding enemies on the plantation, but will hit it again.

@@spinny2593 I'll take a look at the spawns on the plantation, I could've misplaced a spawn or some other glitch might be causing everything else to break on that specific map.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of anywhere selling just the adapter that ships to the USA anymore. You could try watching AKStuff, they used to stock them and they might get the adapters back in at some point, but currently they just sell the stocks.
