Well, here it is part 2 of my Honda CRX restoration. This time I'm getting my hands and workshop absolutely filthy by removing all of the mechanical items from the car as well as all the body work so that we can see exactly how many rust repairs lay ahead for us here on RRC. So I hope you will sit back, relax and enjoy this video.

My first thought: "Man, let her go in peace...". But when he took off the side skirt, saw the rust clinging to the air there and said "it's not so bad " I knew I was dealing with a madman. "Let him cook" I thought. Keep it up man.

I had a Honda crx as a first car. It was my sisters, and she asked 750. A week before I turned 17 my sister asked for the money. A week later on my birthday I get a envelope from my sister and a cart. In the card she wrote: here is your 750 back, use it for your driver’s license. I come from a “poor” family (rich in love but not in terms of money) so that present was like giving a house or a Lamborghini. She started a tradition I honored by giving a car to my younger sister. I have nothing but fun memories thinking about that little car! I’ve never loved a car more than that car

I'm stoked to see this classic brought back to it's former glory. The only other things I would do besides the manual swap: upgraded disk brakes up front, a disk brake swap in back and a little extra sound deadening than what came from the factory.

Nah, even in this condition it would be a massive waste to scrap the car. They're pretty rare these days and damn valuable. You could part it out and make double your money back just by selling the parts and shell separately.

Once again thank you for taking the time to keep this process, which as you mentioned many of us are deeply familiar with, much more interesting to watch. People don't think about the time it takes to set up a POV shot, or that cool transition with the CRC back panel. That stuff doesn't just happen when you're taking a car apart. It's that care and attention that makes your videos top shelf.

You've got to love Japanese build quality when it come to fixings and fittings. Old nuts and bolts that look on deaths door still undo leaving good threads. Quality. Mind, there is a lot of CR - X to sweep up at some point 😂 Spotted the editing time line miss match. Wasn't really that hard 😁 actually, I may be mistaken... I'm quite excited about seeing this go back together too. Please paint it white 🙏🙏🙏
