3 жыл бұрын

Sydney-based startup, Rapid Response Revival has dedicated more than five years to developing the world's first personal defibrillator, CellAED.
In May 2021, CellAED achieved CE Certification - the first of what RRR intends will be a series of regulatory approvals for this ground-breaking technology, around the world.
With CE Certification, RRR is one giant step closer to bringing CellAED to the world. To stay tuned to when CellAED will be released, register your interest at www.rapidresponserevival.com.

Everyone should do an Advanced First Aid course with St John's Ambulance EVERY YEAR. Do you want to be one of those people who will say "My friend would still be here if only I had done the course and had an AED".

Terrific concept! I have an older Laerdal FS1 ($1200 refurbished) and change the battery 5 yearly ($200/280) pads 3 yearly ($105/140)I reckon this smaller defib is better value. Smaller, lighter, simple/cost effective replacement strategy and it looks like the packaging is waterproof, my only concern would be ambient temp rating limits for storage? Regardless of when my HS1 eventually fails completely I’ll be opting for one of these some time this year, perfect for boating and camping.

Can CellAED be stored in car? Has that been tested if not what if someone forgets it their car and it’s really cold or hot? The cost seems like it going to be around $400 not “1/10 the cost of a currently available defibrillator”I get this video is a couple years old but even a couple years ago you could get Defibrillators for under $2000 also the products not available yet & home defibrillators keep getting cheaper. This is an amazing product especially the portability aspect but it expires every two years can’t just recharge the battery and from the website the company seems to be looking at the subscription model of ppl paying $20 a month with replacement coming every two yrs so odds are battery change isn’t coming. And if someone does subscribe is that monthly price stay the same or is it subject to change? Since it’s so small have you guys thought of all possibilities it may be carried and issues that come with that for example airports in bags at the beach or places that are very humid ect.

why the muzak played over the information? A simple demonstration of use without advertising would be much appreciated.

I'd like to help you realise that dream and get the word out. Send me a trainer and I'll do a video on KZbin and my Socials. I'm Definitely getting one for my outback travels. I have a larger one for home, but this will fit in the pack or glovebox of the 4By

Thier marketing says it's better value for money??? I got an AED for home for £695 with a 10 year warranty which includes free repalcement pads delivered 4 weeks before expiry AND a battery charger. NOW THATS VALUE FOR MONEY. Wouldnt touch one of these with a barge-pole.

Look this is a nice video, but good high quality CPR is really important to not only survival but neurological function. This lady in the video is just taking way too long and this is suboptimal. One person should be doing CPR and another do the AED.

Its a fantastic idea for an AED and every home should have one, but maybe not this one in its current iteration. They need to improve the design to make the battery rechargeable or replaceable if they truly wish to get the cost to something close to 1/10 of existing options. When you take into account the cost of ownership of an existing available AED over say an 8 year period (the warranty period for other AED's), there are options that would be significantly cheaper, year to year comparison. Where as this has to be 'safley disposed of according to local council regulations' every 13 months and a new unit purchased, others simply replace the battery. e.g. Heartsine AED = less than $1500AUD (Google it) Battery after 4 years = $210AUD 8 year cost of ownership = $1710 Yearly cost of ownership over 8 years ($1710 ÷ 8) = $213.75AUD CellAED = $359AUD (pre-order Google it) Im not trying to undermine this product its a fantastic idea. I simply don't like hearing potentially misleading statements "1/10 of the cost of a currently available defibrillator" when the topic is as imporntant as this. Make the battery rechargeable or replaceable and get the cost of ownership to that magic 1/10 mark👍
