RRR (Rise, Roar, Revolt) Is a larger than life Indian epic that has stepped up and filled the void left by Hollywood!
Move over Tinseltown! Tollywood is here! Director S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR is a masterpiece of action, romance, comedy, mythology, animals, true love and gut wrenching drama tied together with a bromance for the ages.
RRR is why movies are made!

The whole bridge sequence is cool but at the same time, it also summarizes the whole movie plot. Ram's mission is regarding the country (jumps with a Flag) and Bheem's mission is to save the child of his tribe (jumps to get the child) and in this journey they exchange their missions (exchange of flag and child) and eventually succeed helping each other. Thats the brilliance of Story telling of SS Rajamouli

Some details about the movie characters : Originally Alluri Sita Rama Raju, although wasn't a tribal himself, went into forests for helping tribals, he used to wear Saffron clothing and used bow & arrows resembling Hindu god "RAM" (was also a sharp shooter) It was his approach to stand as a symbol of inspiration for tribals to revolt (known as Rampa Rebellion, with motto "Mande Rajyam" which translates to.. Ours is this kingdom) against British in Visakhapatnam agency. (Some believe that Alluri Rama Raju taking "Sanyas" (divine way of living) after death of his love Sita, was the reason for his Saffron attire). Sita really was his lover's name and after her death he changed his name from Alluri Rama Raju to Alluri Sita Rama Raju. Born in the West-Godavari (a district of present Indian state Andhra Pradesh), in a Telugu Kshatriya family to Alluri Venkata Rama Raju and his wife Suryanarayanamma, after his parents died (when he was 12) was raised by his uncle Rama krishnam Raju. He was a well educated, civilized man who felt that the tribals are the ones being suppressed the most by british, and went to forests and dedicated his entire life for helping them fight british, although wasn't a tribal himself. He used to do guerilla raids on British police stations (after informing & challenging them that he's going to come & attack and stop him if they can) and collect guns & weapons, using an army of armed tribals by training them. It's said that it costed more than a million even in those days, for the british to finally find and execute him. They killed Rama Raju unethically while he's unarmed, performing a morning Prayer. Komaram Bheem, a tribal himself from gond tribes of Adilabad (a district of the present Indian state "Telangana") is rumoured to be an extremely strong man, and to hunt a tiger by himself. He used to wear muslim disguises during his revolt against Nizam. He died fighting the Nizam's of Bhagyanagaram (Present day Hyderabad) In Telugu states (Andhra, Telangana) everyone knows these things, maybe not in other states. They were referred as Sri Ram and Bheemasen (since long back before the movie even existed !!) from their names and features (Rama Raju's- Saffron Attire, his lover's name is "Sita", went to forests and made an army using tribals, man of extreme commitment, Komaram Bheem- Physical strength, Crude attacking nature, Perseverance) being similar to characteristics of Lord Ram from Ramayanam and Bheem from Mahabharatam and out of the level of reverence they've achieved from people. Both left their homes almost in the same period and then returned after some time and started their revolutions against British and Nizam respectively. After returning home, Rama Raju started wearing Saffron clothing till the day he died fighting for tribals, and Bheem came back as an educated man and started his rebellion with motto.. Jal, Jangal, Jameen.. with translates to Water, Forest & Soil.. As no one has a clear idea about what happened to them in that period when they left, and what made them become revolutionaries.. the movie writer wrote a Fictional story that they met and became friends and Bheem was the one who gave Rama Raju a Saffron attire and that he got educated himself from Rama Raju, connecting everything that was remembered in telugu people hearts.. if we see carefully, we can see all these details used in the movie clearly.. The mythological references are used in bgms.. as these freedom fighters are actually revered by referring them as Lord Sri Rama and Bheemasen.. in many parts of Telugu states... Other details : -Also The Indian Flag used throughout the movie was the older Berlin Committee Flag (designed by Madame Bhikaji Cama, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Shyamji Krishna Varma) corresponding to the time period. (Current Indian flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya, also from Telugu land) -Rama Raju is also referred by people as "Manyam Dhora".. which translates to King/Chief of the Wild Forests and Komaram Bheem is praised as "Gondu Bebbuli".. which translates to Ferocious Tiger of Gond tribes. These names are also referred in the Original (Telugu) movie version on zee5. The one in Netflix is Hindi dubbed (bollywood) version. -The bike used by Bheem was the older world war version which were designed lightweight for men to lift and carry them when required. -Names of Freedom fighters shown in the rrr movie ending song & which indian state they belong to & their language : -Subhash Chandra Bose (state west bengal/ orissa, language Bengali) -Sardar Vallabhai Patel (state Gujarat, language Gujarati) -Kittur Rani Chennamma (state Karnataka, language kannada) -V.O.Chidambharam pillai (state Tamil nadu, language Tamil) -Bhagat Singh (state Punjab, language Punjabi) -Tanguturi Prakasam panthulu (also RRR Heroes Alluri SitaRama Raju & Komaram Bheem) (state Andhra, language Telugu) -Varma Pazhassi Raja (state Kerala, language malayalam) -Chatrapathi Sivaji (state Maharashtra, language Marathi)

Hollywood could never make such a movie today. Just look at how hard the Rainbow Cult wants to present the deep friendship between Frodo and Sam in LOTR as a gay relationship. Two men or two women cannot have an intense brotherly or sisterly friendship anymore. Everything has to be turned into a sexual relationship by people who know nothing about actual friendship. Cause actual friendship is dangerous to them. What if your friend says something that gets him cancelled and you get dragged along with him? What if you have to denounce him?

Actually when i watch movies i don't expect next scene, just i go with movie what director is showing or narrating the movie, but for the first time I have high expectations on Thanos and Hulk fight sequence on Avengers infinity war and End Game. When Two biggies fighting against each other on a big screen, it's a awe(expression) movement, it will blow your mind. After i saw Avengers infinity war and End Game, my excitement is completely gone, Immediately only one thought came on my mind, and imagining my self if SS RAJAMOULI directed Thanos and Hulk fight sequence it would blow everyone's mind. If there is a fight sequence between big guy and powerful small guy, it won't give kick to the audience. If there is a fight sequence between 2 big guys and that fighting sequence has out of physics law ( over the top), you can imagine how it will be.

@Animation With Himank i am not expecting the whole movie to direct by Rajamouli, i am expecting only Thanos and Hulk fight sequence only, he actually make fight sequence between hero and villain (with humans) in a grand scale and over the top. If he direct two biggies with power what they have, it would be a animation fight with grand scale, this type of fight sequence has so much room to make and it's director's beyond imagination and they don't have any rules or boundaries to make this type of fight sequences. I am not good at English, please try to understand what i going to tell.

I find myself so lucky to be born in India (for spiritual reasons), but also to be born in South (for the lived spiritual experience), and on top of that to be born in the Telugu states (for the rich culture we somehow held on to in spite of 1000 yrs of Islam invasions and 200 yrs of British occupation). I can only say how much more beautiful the movie is in the original Telugu language. The nuances, the subtleties (that can get lost even on North Indians), the details, the emotions... wow... if you experienced the movie as we Telugu speakers do, you would feel this is the peak of ANY movie in the world in the history of movies! Now, Rajamouli's ultimate mission is to translate the epic Mahabharata story (longest poem ever written in the world), and when he does it in 6 parts over the next 15 yrs, audience will realize the peak reached in terms of story-telling in the history of humanity!!

Saani Kaayidham.. this is probably the darkest and sickest Indian movie you will ever see.. the plot isn't one bit close to RRR.. but you should check it out.. it's very common for me to watch a plot such as RRR as an Indian.. but Saani Kaayidham is something else..

I am Indian, I never watch movies. I am not interested in any kind of films bollywood, hollywood or Chinese. . I never went to a theater my whole 22 years of life. But I wanted to see Bahubali 2, since there was already so much craze about Bahubali 1. And believe me, I went to the theater the 2nd time to watch the movie again.

I've become obsessed with Bollywood movies. This was good, but some of my favorites are their suspense and cop movies. It is always magnificent to watch the storylines twist and turn with unexpected results.. I could list 10 I've rewatched 10 times over. If you don't take advantage of Netflix collections of Indian movies you are missing out.

George have you ever seen The movie, Uncommon valor? Staring. Gean Hackman Fred Ward, Randle Texas Cobb, Patrick Swayze Really good movie It's about a group of military military brothers going back into Vietnam to rescue American sons and brothers That were left behind. I have always found it very enjoyable to watch I thought it was really good some pacing issues And when they get to Vietnam there was some strange editing going on. Anyways if you do read this and if anyone else reads this please tell me what you think of the movie.

I have seen it as a teen and so many times since then. It always grabs me from the beginning till the end. If I remember there was a character called Bambam, the blonde big guy who handled the explosives, after Gene Hackman and Fred Ward's character who had trouble sleeping who could slip in and out of anywhere, he was my favorite. It felt realistic and engaging. I am going to go watch it now. Many thanks for that my friend! Have a brilliant week!!

@@GeorgeTheGiantSlayer Hello George. I liked how everyone was flawed and where not indestructible. Fred Wards character is my Favorite then Randel Tex Cobb got to love someone crazy 🤣 enough to where a live hand Grenade as a necklace 😀 his response to when asked why. Because if life gets to boring he would pull the pin and see what was next 🤣🤣. The fight scene between Patrick Swayze and Randel Tex Cobb was the best part. You just bought yourself the WHOLE CAN OF Whoop Ass.. 🤣 when you watch it, does it seem like there was more scenes that where cut when the first reached Thailand? To me there is some wonky editing there. Also I love how they had to use WWII weapons to raid the POW camp because the CIA confiscated the high tech weapons.
