Hi! Hope you could help me out with the following: I do understand the vigenere table, but how do you decrypt a ciphertext where the ciphertext is made by the plaintext letter combined with the following letter (which I think has something to do with the key?). For example, if we had the word: DOG D and O would be combined to form R O and G would be combined to form U G and D would be combined to form J So the ciphertext would be RUJ So, how would you decrypt RUJ if you didn’t know that the plaintext is dog?

Your Plain text is DOG,what is your key? you have see plaintext letter in row and key letter in column and then select the letter which is intersecting plaintext and key , this intersection letter is cipher text, watch the video again and I am sure you will understand the vigenere cipher , I am always here to solve your doubts, Good Luck
