When he got benched I said to my dad they aren’t giving him a fair chance. Absolutely dominant and got his spot taken for 1 bad half. He comes in this game and gets his job done. Now a NFL quarterback. Biggest sleeper in history.

It made me so annoyed. Jalen gets benched for Tua and Tua leads the comeback and becomes the starter. Then Jalen does the same thing and he still gets benched.
@Don-md6wn2 жыл бұрын
Pure nonsense. Jalen struggled against good defenses down the stretch. 4th quarter comeback to beat Mississippi State. The loss to Auburn. Alabama was lucky to make the playoff after that. Alabama's defense dominated Clemson so the offense was very conservative. Shut out by Georgia for a half. Jalen was struggling with his reads and accuracy as a passer. He got a lot better the year he backed up Tua and in his season at Oklahoma.

@@LeskoBrandon2x - Oh don't take it wrong, he is no where near the top of the list of the greats, I would probably go Derrick Thomas or maybe Joe Namath if I had to pick. Jalen Hurts is my favorite, for as much off the field as on. I don't think the young man took a wrong step the entire time he was at The Capstone. He was touted as a sure fire Heisman winner as a freshman and lost his job a couple of years later. In all of that, and the intense media circus that went along with it, he stayed true to his school, his team, and himself. While everyone begged him to change position all he ever said was "no thanks, I'm going to be an NFL quarterback". It wasn't a vanity, it was just the reality in his mind and by god he was right. I could go on and on about the guy, he was simply the perfect college athlete and he capped his entire career off at Alabama by earning his degree before being off to Oklahoma to prove all of the doubters wrong, just as he seems to be doing with the Eagles in the present. I just think the world of the guy and hope his time in the NFL is as amazing as he deserves. Roll Tide Roll
