Getting fired from SNL was THE best thing for Shane. Made him a house hold name, and his gift of comedy didn't just disappear because of it... Also, side note, this episode and Shane talking about his failures making me laugh SO hard. One of the best guests.
@dash-x2 жыл бұрын
His story is incredible. Even if his comedy isn’t for me, I enjoy him as a human and his perspective. Probably because he’s around my age and reminds me of my brothers and friends. The fact he was able to hold it down, weather this strange road and come out the other side mostly in tact says a lot about him and his support system. There really wasn’t any sort of path of redemption for what he experienced as it was very bizarre set of circumstances .

Not movie theaters.. going from open mics, to rooms to theaters is the trajectory for comics. Usually it takes 15 years for them to get through paying those dues.
