Great job and video Ryan thanks ! I need to pull my motor too and replace the front main and oil pump etc. and might as well pull the stock twins while everything is out...? Car is stock now.. which is nice and rare in it of itself but I have a single kit ready also.

Definitely keep that harness, I've got 2 spares for my IS300 and have already had to pull connectors from the spares to fix my factory harness. Alot cheaper than buying new connectors

Oh the stock twins. I still have flashbacks about my removal. Only had a walmart ratchet set and it was still in the car...never......again.......lol. 100% easier that its on a stand out of the car!

Yes I did the same thing! And I still don’t remember or even believe I did it!!? But I wouldn’t even be able to begin doing that in the car now... 😬😬😬 out of the car is not bad?

What ECU do you suggest and also do you use aftermarket wiring harness since you had issues with the one you pulled off? Picking up a 89 Supra and picking up a 1jz non vvti to play around with.

MrS1ntax for a mk3 I’m going with link fury g4. Yea little pricey but easier to deal with. Per my tuner.

Hey man that's not a wastegate, that's the actuator for the sequential system at the bottom on the floor! p.s the oil in the intake may also be a fucked turbo!?

Curious what the cylinder thing was under the intake manifold that has coolant pass through it you mention you didn’t know what it was . When you find out mention it in a video please
@krisedwards86025 жыл бұрын
I think it’s just a pressure/vacuum canister for air. Functions for some part of the sequential operation. The 2JZGE VVTi also had one, I think it did something for the ACIS butterfly in the intake mani. I ditched it when I went single. No issues here.
@krisedwards86025 жыл бұрын
Edit: it doesn’t have coolant passing through it, he must have looked at it wrong. It’s a hot mess with all the vacuum lines and small coolant hoses everywhere.

I’m looking at a clean 93” aero for 36k with the tt but it’s an automatic. Do you think it’s worth it?
