Takes me a hour to walk 3 miles on the Creeper. Thanks for keeping me informed. I clicked like when you said "We'll have to go fishing". Be careful around those edges!

Thanks so much for providing updates for those of us at the east end of 58 here in the Tidewater! CBS national news had a piece last week on recovery efforts in SW Va/Damascus area, so at least some attention is still being paid.

Thank you so much for keeping people updated on the Creeper Trail and other areas. The way that you and your lovely lady explain things is great. The only tie I have is that it is such a beautiful area. I live in Greensboro and love day trips through the area. Haven't fished in a very long time but watching you is making me want to start again. Blessings and MERRY CHRISTMAS to both of you.

Those dog collars are for training, only. Not meant to be used as a restraint or leash. It's just something that people need to know. A lot of folks are using them the wrong way. They are a tool that is meant to train dogs not to pull on their leash. I've never seen one used on an active leash.

@@POWER-LINKS Ya, that is the point. He pulls a lot. Obviously we didnt use it but if we do it does keep him from pulling as much. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for another great update video! Do you know if the 2 private log homes on the left of the trail (there was a rock bluff across the creek from them) survived? I believe they were below Straight Branch but not sure of the mile marker. Merry Christmas to you both!

Not in any major way as far as I know.

Thanks for the update! Do u speculate they will have 58 repaved by end of next summer, or will it be a gravel road at that point? I figure for those tour company shuttles to get back to normal, they need 58 fully restored.
@beautifulvirginia962919 күн бұрын
@@churchofbrap876 Probably be close to finished by summer but like you said, that's just my speculation. Gonna be interesting to see when they are done.

It will be great to have 58 up and running for locals to access Konnarock and area visitors to get up to White Top Mountain and Grayson Highlands State Park! It will be quite a while until the bike shuttles will run up 58. Unfortunately, the Creeper requires major rebuilding before anyone will need be shuttled.
