Thank you for this video. My grandfather left Cork in 1921 and came to Ellis island. He was 21. I now know some of what he experienced.

Is that Canterbury? I attended some of his lectures during my time at UCC in Cork. He was outstanding. They have a wonderful history department there.

I had no idea the amount of death and destruction the Brits did to the country. No videos are rarely shown that actually show this. No idea Cork was destroyed like this. After the Brits left the country turns on itself and does the same thing. Amazing and sad

The horrors they inflicted on people worldwide, from Ireland to India is unimaginable. Imagine Israel today but doing that on every continent if any army stood up to them. The most tyrannical regime in world history for my money.
