I don't get why people are offended by Burnie's Wales comment. It's a comedy podcast, but he makes a good point. Yeah, Wales MAY be it's own country, but it's only it's own country by name alone. It's the same land, the same leaders, the same language. It's the same fucking country. It's like how Hawaii and Alaska are part of the United States, but let's face it. They're waaaay out there both in location and in culture so they're kinda not. Practically speaking. Wales is not its own country. Hawaii isn't part of the US. EVEN though the opposite is true on paper.

I'm a massive Doctor Who fan and I agree, most of the fandom is full of arseholes who will snap at you if you don't agree with their likes and dislikes of the show and it pisses me off, because it gives people who really don't give a shit and just watch the show and swap and share opinion reasonable with other fans who think alike. The main reason I think people got so mad at the spoilercast wasn't that they didn't agree with there opinions on the show, it was the fact that the people on it, no offense didn't really explain it that well, which was a shame because some of them do seem like they watch the show. I hate to be "that guy" but Wales and England are NOT the same country. Wales is part of the United Kingdom, which consists of Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales, also known as the Commonwealth. True that the Queen rules over the UK as a Head of State, domestic problems that occur in Wales is still in the jurisdiction of the Welsh Government. Only if the problem gets out of hand and spreads to other parts of the Commonwealth will the people in Downing Street take a gander at what's going on. In short, Wales is part of the UK but not the same as England.

Angel Mendoza I haven't watched this podcast yet, so I can't guess as to why you're talking about Too Human, but having completed that game (1000g) and playing it for far too long I can say I didn't think it was a great game. I thought the story was amazing (Futuristic Norse Mythos? Hell yeah!), but the gameplay was terrible, unbalanced and repetitive.

Great Britain is a country with three regions Scotland, England and Wales. Britain is part of a union with Northern Ireland called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Wales just like Scotland is separate and distinct from England we merely share a parliament. I wonder what Burnie would have said if Gavin told him that the vast majority of Scots have always worn the same cloths as the English and Welsh. So in Brave heart the Scottish soldiers would have been dressed the exact same as the English soldiers including William Wallace. So England and Wales are the same because they don't wear skirts? Then the whole of Europe, North America and South America must all be the same because they all wear trousers. Also fucking hell Gavin that's the Northern Ireland flag not Wales. Wale's has a half green half white flag with a red dragon in the middle.

I'm guessing you're American. A couple of things though: The Italian flag and Welsh flag are only alike in the colours used. I don't see Wales using green, white and red stripes under the red dragon. The flag is actually half white and half green with the red dragon on top. It's funny how you got it wrong too. Gavin is Gavin, not the whole of England. Also, it would be Wales' not Wale's.

As a Welshman, I can safely say that Burnie and Gus would get their teeth knocked out on the streets of Cardiff with that attitude. Well, Wales still sends MPs to Parliament in London, UK soldiers defend Wales, the normal Welshman uses the British pound, Wales does not have either a seat or observer status in the United Nations General Assembly, and to top it all off, Wales isn't even a constituent kingdom within the UK. Wales is a *principality*, with its Prince being the Crown Prince of England, and is subservient to the English monarch. To compare Wales' status to Australia, Canada, or New Zealand is very wrong on so many levels.

Wales is a different country, A different language and a completely different flag. Gavin's idea that the cross is on it's side is wrong It's a white and green flag with a red dragon on it. It has a senate which runs the country, has different roots (from celtic roots rather than anglo-saxon). Culturally it runs eisteddfod's a large type of talent competition, The welsh created the harp instrument, and has a type of clothing worn during a specific dance and may pole dancing.

Burnie mentioned that Smash Burger had the same looking logo as GameStop in terms of colors and font. In my town, a smash burger opened up in the place of a gamestop, so the sign doesn't look different at all, but it's a brand new store.
