Granted, I'm not from the UK so naturally I may not get any of the nuances when it comes to their economy but isn't leaving the EU better for the UK? From what I understand the UK was putting more money into the EU than they were getting back. Accepting refugees is economic and social suicide (Case in point: Sweden). Aren't officials in the EU elected by other officials in the EU so the people of the UK have zero control over who is in power and making decisions for there confederation? It makes sense that alot of people would want out.

From what I know mostly the older generation 50+ voted more then young who will be more affected by it then the older people. Alot of people who voted and did not vote thought that their vote wouldn't matter that much. Also the scots want to stay and they're opinion was ignored. Personally it everyone fault for how uniformed they are on this and they'll live with it. There's other reason I read but mostly what I read EU sucks but it's benificial.

Officials are elected from the majority of EU parliament which is elected by all European citizens. Every country has a specific number of seats in EU parliament in which the citizens elect their representatives. Domestic political parties are joining with EU's political parties to try make a majority in the EU parliament. It is like in every parliamentary elections - citizens elect the majority in the parliament and that majority has a mandate to form a government with people the winning political party thinks are fit for a government job. Also unlike in many EU countries, you are allowed to talk with your EU parliamentary representative.

I'm kinda sad that the game of thrones talk happened because it was 30 minutes of just talking about a show I could not give a damn about even if paid. That's a half hour of prime RT podcast time wasted. My reason why I don't like the show. It's strait up to grim and brutal for me to enjoy. If I wanted to watch a depressing show about everyone dieing I'd like it. I watch RT and other youtube stuff and tv shows to lighten my day up.

I mean, not really though. The podcast isn't always 2 hours long. Had they not done the GoT talk and insted just ended the podcast, it would've been a pretty standard length. The GoT talk seemed like more of an added segment at the end of the podcast than a replacement of a portion of it.
