Except they're wrong about the people reversing out of a spot thing. The moving vehicle has the right-of-way, it's the job of the person backing up at 1mph to stop, not the other way around. Also, notice how in barbara's story she didn't say who was actually there first - because she didn't see them. So technically barb was the dumb driver not paying attention and then getting angry about it lol.

NaokoTheDragonKnight i've been listening to the rt podcast since it was called the drunk tank and i've never found her to be overly explicit or excessive in her storytelling, simply honest. this is a comedy podcast where they talk about their lives and joke around with pals, if they cut the most honest parts out i'm sure it'd be less entertaining to listen to. it's not like she's coming on weekly with a new story about how her an aaron banged the night before, she's just open and real in conversation and i think it's something to be admired

As a former Mail Man, there are two ways to deliver generally. Letters are per-sorted by DPS(Delivery Point Sequence), and you can chose to leave it as is and not sort it into each address in the case, to take to the street, but then you have the issue that your Mail Man does. You have to work from two bundles, one bundle for letters, and one bundle of flats (i.e. magazines, flyers "junk mail") that's not per-sorted. So the options are take longer in the office sorting everything so you only have to finger through one bundle until you see the next address, or take longer on the street swapping between bundles. Before I left that job, I think I heard that "junk mail" accounts for like 70% of all mail delivered country wide or something close to that number. The job itself is also horrible. The routes range, from what I did, 600-1000 stops for rural carriers. I have no idea what city carriers did. Days for new people, like I was, was about 10-12 hours each work day. once you're there for a decade you get good enough to have an 7-9 hour work day.

As a Motorbike Rider I've had my fair share of encounters with Bad Drivers. A few i like to point out are the time i was simple going straight threw a roundabout and suddenly the car on my left in the left lane, I'm in the right, both marked to go straight or right lane can turn, left has to go straight. Well they didn't want to... they cut me off, mid roundabout and I'm just screwed, jamming my brakes on and hoping i don't get rear ended. Another time is when it was a busy hot day and I'm riding around town looking for somewhere to park, normally i park in a Motorbike specific spot but they were all full so i rode around about 5 minutes longer and finally found a Car Park, i went into it and positioned my bike so another bike could also fit knowing what i just went through that was the best thing to do, well as I'm getting off my bike someones horn is blasting, i take off my helmet look up and its a oldish lady laying on the horn at me and pointing for me to move for her. Everyone started looking at her and I'm just like, she's crazy if she doesn't realise I'm in the right here, i have legal rights to park here and i just walk off.

Hmm. The thing about reversing is actually interesting. In Sweden you as the person who are reversing ALWAYS have to wait for other people driving. If you're reversing in a parking lot and someone is trying to get around you, you have to stop and let them through first.

Without knowing how far Tatooine is from Alderaan I am unsure how long the trip would take but based on travel times in stuff like the Clone Wars animated series it could have taken anywhere from 10 hours to a week. It's also significant to note that the Millenium Falcon is extremely fast but seeing as Han is a smuggler it is also likely that he would take a less than direct route to Alderaan. So I think 1-5 days would be an okay guess.

Owen and Beru Lars were killed on 35:3:5 ("After resync" time system or ArS, in format Year:Month:Day), The Battle of Yavin occurred 4 days later on 35:3:9, so Luke would have been travelling with Ben for just over 3 days when the the Falcon was captured by the Deathstar and they got split up.

the story about mail-men and junk mail is even more stupid than you think, my mom carried mail for a short time while trying to get a better job at the post office and when they are told to delivered junk mail/newspapers (at least in Missouri) they can't just give you any newspaper in the stack. each piece of that mail has a specific address and has to go to that house, so not only is it a huge waste of paper, but it's a huge waste of the mailman's time
