About the hermit crab thing, when a big shell washes ashore, a bunch of crabs gather and get arranged by size and wait for a big enough crab to come by and take the new shell. Once the big crab goes into the new shell the chain reaction starts and the crabs take the shell of the bigger crab in front of it. When it gets down to the smaller crabs and shells, they push each other out of the way because they don't want to end up with the worst shell that no one wants. The crab that looses the battle usually ends up with a crap shell such as one with a hole on it.

The thing with Slack it's very good for collaborative work. Especially with people who work in software development. I study Computer Science and have used it a few times for my group projects. One of the extensions is GitHub support, which is to basically sum it up, is a platform for collaborative coding.

Best solution for Burnie's cat problem: bring Nutmeg and Joe the cat to the company and have them be company pets. That way Burnie still pretty much has his pets, his kid doesn't have to deal with his allergies, and everybody can take care of the litter box or they can have a ton of people chip in for the egg litter box thing

MY MOM HAS THE EGG LITTER BOX. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY. she has FOUR cats, Sasha, Petra, Gus, and Vivi. She only has to empty the drawer twice a week. With Two cats, once a week would suffice! also conserves litter? i dont think its marketed as that but we've found mom spends way less on litter refills now. I wish i could gift you guys one, but the only type of automatic litter box i have an extra of is the kind you connect to a water line, it uses a special plastic litter that it reusable, and the litter box washes the litter and flushes away the "debris" and continues rotating the litter to dry it out. That takes cleaning once every 2-3 months.

Heyooo Burnie Burns, just a little FYI, you can get your child anti-allergenic(I'm pretty sure that's a word) to almost anything. Just have a scheduled visit to the hospital and they inject the kid with small to gently increasing doses of the allergen until he becomes immune, that's what happened to me because I was allergic to a lot of things ranging from dust to trees(I live in a forest-y area). If not for you to keep your cat as well but for him to be able to have cats in the future.

RE: the Doctor Who backlash. It is there. The official announcement video has 12k likes to 7k dislikes (which is a large split from the regular ratio) and there are a tonne of comments that are against it. And every post on the official DW Facebook page has hate against it too.
