Sky-diving with a cord is typically called "static line", at least where I'm from. It's phenomenal - though having to check/control your own chute opening and descent is terrifying. From 3500ft the LZ looks like a postage stamp and trying to hit it is a nightmare. Still; best thing ever :)

Superman went back in time by flying faster than light, and the earth spinning backwards was just a visual cue to let you know that time travel was happening. As a hotel manager the reason why the housekeepers are so insistent on cleaning your room is because they don't get paid for that room.
