I just got a 2011 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD because I wanted something newer and comfortable, but didn't want to get the latest Pilot that looks more like a mini van. I'll be doing the 2" lift from HRG in the near future, get 17x8 steel wheels with a 0 offset, and get some A/T or M/T tires. I plan to sleep in it, so no roof camper for me, but I might add an awning to it since I already have a roof rack. Awesome to see these older Hondas doing so good offroading.

@@johnsmith-oh2xo A properly modified Samurai is an absolute animal off road. You can't compare a stock Sammy and a modified CRV and I own two 1st gen CRV's. Honestly I think in 05 (maybe 06) when Jeep stopped using the 4.0 I-6 they are total garbage since. I knew someone with one of the earlier 4 door Wranglers. It was lifted and on 34's. At 30k mileage it was in the shop for a solid month. He got it out and a month later it was back in the shop. It's straight up Chrysler trash. If you tried to hang with a 40 year old CJ7 or FJ40 doing serious off roading you would break the pieces of shit.

Watching 1/26/20 . I see the Tire on the back not covered, hope by the time I am watching this your friend has the tire covered. All elements of the weather will damage the tire on the outside. The sun damages it the worst.

@@DashnCars Also we've had it for a while but the block ended up giving and having low compression. We drove from Michigan to Cincinnati and back to pick up an engine straight from Japan. This thing s great in the snow for not having real time AWD. I got stuck in 12 inches of snow today and not even after 2 minutes I was out lol. great small Suv!

We havent tried the Honda crv as yet. It did come with a table, with the tire on the back you do have storage space. The seats fold down into a double size . Havent spent much time figuring that out yet, if it were to hppen (x fingers it never acrually happen) if the time did happen again we ld go for asking as we'd need to. Winter was covered we'd kept ourselves warm, i had a few mornings in our bedding he was close to me and his head on my arm. He is doing well ble hair so he was pretty much in his element... Early morninf wake up!!

Blowing up hasnt happened as if its to hot we dont eat it. Besides most likely they're trying to hide the kidney beens, they do there best of hiding. I told one of the cooks tomato soup mix brown sugar also vinegar both to taste, they never heard of it before i was surprised, ive that for to many years. It homemade sweet and sour sauce.

The wago gotta go limited slip with the front and rear differential, it also needs a little more POW. Maybe an engine swap. When was the last time you replaced the viscous fluid?

No limited slips, LSD for the front is in the mail. Engine and torque is fine, but I'm in the process of supercharging it. I replaced the viscous coupler silcone fluid exactly a year ago to 100k weight. I literally did the video on it. Seach "viscous coupler" and my video is the first to pop up. 😄

Since I bought my first crv in 2011, I’ve never had an issues or problems with them. Bought a 18 civic lx now has 31k and purring like a kitten. Not yet sure about the crv hybrid, but pulled the trigger and bought a full loaded one. Hopefully the hybrid will be trouble free as well.

What exactly are those things spanning the front bumper cover and the silver panel? Is it a fail safe from the bumper cover ripping off? Is it a purchased product or a diy situation?

They are just quick disconnects for the bumper. I use them on my Civic as well, they are necessary when you take the supports out.

Dash-n-Cars that’s the biggest size they recommend to go. They say anything bigger could damage the suspension and to hard on the transmission and motor. I’m going to get 215/70/15 or 215/75/15

I was homless for 6 years straight.lete know how i are after accomplishing. After six years my dog and I would go do it longer. Its quiet, way quiter then indoors, still havent made up our minds whether we will. Living i a building is less likely, the only thing that makes it worth wild is a bigger place to put cold food, easier and quicker no line up to hae a shower, line ups for the use of a toilet. There is more varity in the food menu. One thing u will need is a stomach for wht they call not spicy. U cld melt snow ice or even turn a pool of cold waater bubble. Ur own breath will sinage hairs on ur face and arms. Outher then thaty dog and iare missing it!
