I attended the anti lockdown protest in Dublin in October - I left home at 6:00am to get there - I lost my mother at the height of the first wave - she passed away in an empty hospital and wasn't allowed her family around her - no wake no funeral service - I believe I have the right to protest against the damage that is being done to this country. In October the protest was totally peaceful - but we were attacked by thugs from Antifa and Sinn Fein - A branch of Sinn Fein called the Red Section traveled all the way from Belfast to attack the anti lockdown protesters - counter protesters brought fireworks and used them...!

Well done Neale Redmond for arguing in support of NPHET advice. We know that deaths rise when restrictions are lifted and that hospitals are beyond capacity. How is John going to stop Irish citizens from flying back into Ireland? What will he do about pandemic unemployment payments? Will he close schools will he close pubs? The numbers fall when we use restrictions and follow advice.
