ah man, i really forgot just how nostalgic the music used in the Kinect games are. i only had a PS2 and a modded Xbox original until, like, 2013 when the family got a 360 with a kinect. i was so used to classics and weird shovelware gameboy ROMs that something so new was absolutely mind boggling to me, hearing the music i remember the smell of the resort we were at, how the sun was shining so bright yet it was still chilly, and even the taste of the gum i was chewing practically the whole time we were there. such good times. did you know you can throw the bowling ball into the crowd? i remember there being an achievement for it as well as breaking the floor, and on the javelin throw, you can throw it so damn hard it goes past every single landmark and impales a screen on the opposite end of the field. man, i actually want to play kinect now. Kinect Adventure was a great one too, i love the one with the balls bouncing off the back wall like a game of Breakout, i played the hell out of fruit ninja kinect (which actually has a VR edition now), and there was a game called Wreckateer that i played a helluva lot. i tweeted that there should be a VR version of it and the devs even liked my post i'll never forget the time i spent playing Halo 4 on legendary difficulty just so i could get the Praetorian or whatever helmet for my avatar so i could use it in the Kinect games, too. or was it a master chief helmet? or... was one of them for getting a back assassination on the praetorian? it's been so long... oh, and because the boxing segment reminded me, i remember one time my brother, dad and i were all playing it at his house shortly after the divorce and my younger brother literally pissed himself laughing in the middle of two-player boxing. kinda weird that that, of all things, is so ingrained in my memory
