RTIC 30 COOLER REPAIR

My Rtic soft 30 cooler I've gotten 7 years out it. Finally this happened to mine also. Great run and will be getting a new one soon.

Mine came apart too. I had pretty good success with 3M yellow weatherstrip glue. It is the best. But if you want it to look nice, you’ll need to mask tape off the areas to protect, the do only small sections at a time, particular around the corners. I used a boat load of strong spring clips to hold in place as it dried.

I agree my fix didn't last long at all. I got a YetI Hopper after it came back apart.

A big, very common problem is that the zipper separates and you can no longer zip it closed. That’s my problem. I love the cooler as it fits perfectly between the 2nd row seats in my Tahoe and coordinates with my grey/black interior.

Yes it is my son's cooler did the same as mine also so we both have YetI coolers now they are a lot better products.

I had the same issue with the RTIC 30 after 7 years, but limited use. Seems to be a very common problem and I got the same response. I’m done with RTIC as well.

My zipper just broke off after 6 months normal daily use. Same one as you.

I have lost a zip pull also but I beat my cooler up everyday.

It didn't hold try the 5200 marine glue I'm going to make a updated video on this one just haven't had a chance.

Seems like a major issue with RTIC Coolers. RTIC won’t even suggest how too repair. Cooler has never used that much even though we bought it in 2017. Would not buy another one.

It definitely is a major problem.. I have the same Cooler, brand new, kept inside, and took it out to use this past week.. seem come unglued! I sent an email to RTIC and they said; Thank you for your email. We do apologize you're experiencing this issue. Softpacks have a one year warranty. In the event the warranty is expired, we recommend a 3M product called 5200 that will usually glue the material together. Customer Service & Support RTIC Outdoors See ya RTIC.

.... poor RTIC design. If they had SEWN the seam AND thermo-glued in the factory we ALL would NOT be having these issues! SHAME on RTIC! I will not buy another RTIC. Too many competitor 30 can coolers that HOLD UP much better! RTIC should have sent you a replacement.

Same thing happened to mine , the only difference is I didn’t buy mine I won it in a Christmas party raffle,I definitely will not be purchasing another in the future
