My 28 year old son is going through this, no self esteem, depression, in debt. He’s a mess 🙁. I’m trying to help him but it’s so hard to help a fully indoctrinated JW.

So true. Deep down I questioned the genuineness of my JW friends. I realized this to the full during covid. I committed the grave sin of exercising my "choice of personal matter" and did not vaccinate. Especially after the "clown man" GB member declared the vaccines "safe" did my ever so loving family start treating me as if I was disfellowshipped. I'm currently PIMO I guess and don't know how to get out. I know I'll lose everything that took me 30 years to build.

High ego and low self-esteem? Im beginning to think that JWs turn their followers into narcissists. I certainly feel like I struggle with several narcissistic tendencies. I've never tied these problems back to how i was raised. I always thought there was something wrong with me mentally!
