@@thecutest4282 Yeah, everyone who reacts by the end of the exam thinks he's just a joke. Honestly nothing has shown him as weak, he only got beaten up by Hisoka (like all of them would be). He was stronger than the Blue guy Kurapica beat (tossed him like a ragdoll), and Netero said he was physically stronger than Bodoro (and Pokkle too). He's been shown as a dunce, but so has Gon on literally the same 2 or 3 occasions. Other than that he can't gauge strength levels well, like when he thought the blue guy was tough, but this is the same guy who was the only one to man up to Hisoka. In the current Manga arc he's been compared to current Kurapica with his new abilities, so he caught up well in that department. Hopefully the anime doesn't downplay that either.

Also about the hunter exam arc in this version was not done well as the 1999 version, the atmosphere was more dark and serious than this one and the osts fits well with the arc and they were all amazing. However the osts here some of them are childish and doesn't fit with the scenes. Though i like the Zoldyck ost and the of Hisoka of this version.

I can confirm that the majority of this show has no filler at all, everything leads to something else of importance in some way. There is some instances of slower pacing or other flaws like that but all shows will have these issues especially a show that is as long and consistent as this one. I'm glad yall are loving this show so early on, I can only imagine when you reach the later episodes.

What I really like about hxh, that not many manga/anime explore is the concept of fear. In a lot of series, we have characters that almost never feel fear and while that’s amazing for them, it misleads the audience to somehow ignore or forget the terror of “fear”. Hxh fully capitalizes on fear. Only with fear bravery exists.

episode 23 showed me one thing. Other than Gon they are weak af. They can barley stand up in a 110 lb vest. That’s what happens when you skip leg day. The dude couldn’t move a 45lb cup. Granted that’s a heavy cup but with both hands a “teenage” male as big as him should at least be able to move it. Scratch that he should’ve got it at least an inch off the table. Maybe they just didn’t play sports growing up. Nah they still move the cup at least without training.
