This laptop is a beast. I ended up going with the 7745HX Ryzen 7/4070 Legion Pro 5 Model and I am more than happy. Quieter than the Slim but def half an lb heavier!

My personal thoughts are that there will be a performance boost, especially if you plan on using frame generation (and are playing the games that support it). That being said, upgrading from just one generation apart seems like a waste of green to me, especially with 3nm bmjust having come out, I expect next gen to be a better time to upgrade if you feel like doing it somewhat soon. A 20-30% performance boost just doesn't seem worth an upgrade to me. Hope that helps!
