Watching these just made me realise how little effort is being put into the writing of the latest games released by this studio. It's like these people are the bravest souls out there, cuz they definitely don't seem shocked or anything. I can understand if there is one or two heroic character who is not as afraid as the others, but even in until dawn, those characters (Mike, Sam) still got their minds messed up by the end of it. Ashley was constantly crying, Jessica went from loud and confident to quiet and shocked, Emily's screams actually sounded like screams instead of the screams we hear in the latest dark pictures games. I don't want to hate on these games, but it's hard not to criticize things when the quality has been going down. Maybe they should stick to 2 year releases instead of releasing a game every year

The worst thing they are doing with the writing is the unnecessary twists, in every game there is a twist that makes the whole game different, which would be good on paper, but it gets boring after two games. These twists usually ruin the game's scaryness by applying logic to them, meaning that every supernatural being has a logical explanation, which takes away from the scary factor very easily. Not to mention most choices are very easy to predict and also just straight up pointless. I'm not saying every choice should have a life changing outcome, but they should do what Detroit did, and make it so that characters can be saved in more than one or two ways

It looks like you have to play as Jamie and initially choose the option to sacrifice yourself with the wall. But then, rather than going through with it, make Jamie press the reverse button when the timed prompt comes up a moment later. That’s how this video shows Kate cursing at Jamie. Jamie essentially went back on her word and Kate got mad. I’m not sure if the cursing also requires a negative relationship between the two or it happens regardless, as long as Jamie switches up, if that makes sense.
