He stated he was homeless and didn’t have anywhere else to go once he got this place so he’d rather deal w/ that then be homeless again and that’s honestly sad that he felt that way. Living in those conditions to prevent from living outside possibly. Even still she was their landlord and she knew the conditions that house was in. He had plenty of evidence that showed she knew. She just didn’t want to deal w/ it because she didn’t live there.

@@inukoko2012 Honestly in New York that $650 a month was dirt cheap from what I see raggedy apartments going for in the city - He actually got a deal as sad as that sounds because anything under $1,500 a month in the boroughs is usually just a small room or an illegal basement if you're lucky.

The plaintiff was so impressive…and handsome 😊 he was very articulate and well prepared. When JM asked him why did he stay, and he said it was because he had no where else to go and he was homeless after really touched my heart. And I’m sure JM’s too. She liked him and believed him from the start. It was cute when she called him baby when asking for the bank receipts. Baby was prepared and I hope that he is doing well. He said that he is and I hope that continues for him.❤❤❤

technically, the land lord by law would have to return all the money since the law states that you are not allowed to make an income illegally so once it was deemed that there could not a a contract on the property due to it being illegally rented, that contract would not exist becoming null and void and she would have had to return the money in a real court. You can not create a contract on any illegal activities
