It might be a low price compared to other trims, but $58000 is not "affordable" for many people.

What Jeep needs is go back to its roots with simple affordable vehicles... It needs a real Willis jeep. One with front and rear lockers and sway bars disconnect but as simple as possible with things like power windows, air conditioner, radio, automatic transmissions, etc as options to make the base price affordable but coming with the things that are a must for a real off-road vehicle like the front and rear lockers...

I own a loaded out Rubicon with the 35 inch tire package. The Jeep is just AMAZING!!! The on road comfort combined with the off-road capability is mind boggling!
@2hotFL22 сағат бұрын
Well at least in Utah you have places where you can actually use a Rubicon. Here in Florida people pay for all that capability and just drive it to the mall. Then they complain they can't get ahead.

That’s all most of them do here in Utah as well.

I Have driven both the v6 and i4 turbo with automatic transmissions. I personally like the v6 setup better. I felt that I had to push down more or harder on the i4 accelerator to get the same power that the pentastar v6 feels like it has. Power band also felt smoother on the v6 vs i4. Turbo felt like it had to spool up first to get useful power.

Since Europeans own Jeep they have lost their way with pricing. That said, rented 2 new Rubicons this past year and was amazed how much better they are to drive vs older ones. Around Hawaii it was great fun and of course off roading they are awesome. But $70K?!

I'll consider a new Jeep when those 35% price reductions come to the dealers. Jeeps are rudimentary vehicles to charge $58K for the base Rubicon. I own a 2020 Gladiator Launch edition and power is borderline. I suppose a 392 Gladiator might pry my wallet open if CJDR can incentives their remaining dealers to avoid gouging.

Can you imagine if Jeep would install a Toyota engine in the Wrangler? Jeep sales would take off, and I’m sure Toyota could still sell a boat load of Land Cruisers.

Imagine a jeep wrangler that has a near $60,000 price tag on it in the first place then imagine being so out of touch with reality to put a thumbnail up saying “Rubicon For Cheap!” and thinking you can get buy in that it’s a good deal. First off there has never been a wrangler worth $50,000 except maybe the one with the hemi and that is a stretch because it’s still a wrangler. Tax, title and registration is on average about $3000 and if you put $2000 down on top of that your out $5000 and have a national average APR of around 6% with exceptional credit. Thats $1,098 bucks a month for a Jeep Wrangler lol, and that is insane. The wrangler is moving into the “tool” bracket that heavy duty trucks are in. Meaning, that if you don’t use it to make money or just have a $1100 to spend monthly on a toy the price point alienates about 3/4 of the market from owning it. 😂

Ben it feels under powered because you owned a TRX a Jeep 392 and a Bronco raptor, I have the same problem once you have horsepower it’s hard to go down in power ha ha!!! I feel a vehicle like this one should be in the low $50,000 range, it’s absolutely ridiculous the cost of everything two years ago you could buy a jeep 392 loaded for 79,000 now the same 392 is about $105,000, and if you look at the value of the 392 for example that’s used with low miles a couple years old people have lost 20,000+ dollars that’s a huge hit and if you buy one of these Rubicon‘s with the four-cylinder one year from now it’s gonna be worth about $35,000 that’s a huge loss I can understand a $10,000 loss over a couple years but it’s out of hand I don’t know how the regular hard-working folks could even afford one of these👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My gosh - you can get a land cruiser for less money than that and have Toyota quality. Jeep is absolutely trash tier. You’d have to be insane to buy that rolling pile of garbage. That’s a $35k vehicle at best.

We bought a 2023 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the 2.0. It just reached 14,000 miles with no problems so far. It gets combined 24 mpg. I like the spin-on oil filter it has. The major negative for me is that it is direct injected unlike the V-6, which is multi-port injected.
