One of the best speeches I've heard regarding the Cuba/Venezuela relations. Senator Marco Rubio's speech has to expand around the world so people understand how Castro Communisms has not only penetrated our country Venezuela...but that it is threatening its way through and expanding like dynamite in many Latin American countries amid unstable governments. As a simple ... plain … common Venezuelan housewife and mother... who had the incredible opportunity to live and study in the United States and Canada … raised in the "Land of the Free"...a land where Human Rights are RESPECTED and "Freedom of Speech" is not condemned and silenced with oppression, persecution or even death. A Venezuelan who came back to live and work hard in this wonderful country for over 30 yrs and has lived through "body and soul" these past 15 yrs of hell and agony since Chavez, nurtured by his teacher Fidel Castro.... took over our peace of mind ... I ask, I plead, I urge, I beg you to help us ... to become “OUR VOICE” our “VISION”… to expose our case to the United States Senate, to make known the horrible violations of our basic rights, freedom of speech, persecutions, that Venezuelans are going through. To make them understand that a "Communist Venezuela" is a very dangerous and unsafe next-door neighbor to wish for. That immediate International action must be imposed ASAP in order to STOP the murdering...massacre...assassinations of our innocent sons & daughters.... the FUTURE HANDS that will re-construct this ONCE beautiful and peaceful country. Fidel Castro is not someone I defend as I'm sure some of the bad things about him are true too. But ...he did do something anyone would do when the CIA double cross you and try to kill you multiple times.... That's the real truth.. Why doesn't Rubio talk about that? I am not the biggest fan of Rubio, but he's got it right here. I have been to Venezuela and Cuba and have lived in Argentina whose government is doing some of the same tactics and heading down the same Bolivarian path (poor Simon Bolivar whose name is being misused for communism). I also have Venezuelan friends in the US and who live in Venezuela and are confirming (as much as can get out because of the repression) that the government thug forces are beating, raping and murdering its own people. WE NEED TO PRAY FOR THE VENEZUELAN PEOPLE! Whoever says that the Venezuelan-Cuban government is right and true has blood on their hands as well.

This speech is as close to a Reagan rebuttal as one can get. Excellent speech and to the point. We already know of those that walk among our body of elected officials pretending to be god loving Americans and seek to destroy our freedoms. To those senators we say, we know who you are and those that are backing you as well. To openly defend the Cuban regime is as equally damaging as if one tried to defend the Nazi party or any other terrorist nation, period.
