He memorized that line for something else but had to say something back so he used it and made no sense to christie's attack! He did that a lot throughout the debates

Christie said he liked Rubio. Rubio walked right into the trap. No one could believe he went back to the same memorized 25 second speech.

Reminds me of an ophthalmologist I was taking a course from at college. He'd read something from a text book and then say "in other words.....", but he never ever had any other words. He lacked, totally, the ability to paraphrase the text. I pointed that out to him and offered some other words in one instance and he immediately made me his assistant. I helped many of my classmates and graduated at the top of my class. I saved a couple of students from failing the final exam when my own grade was lower than expected. I demanded that the key for the test be examined and discovered errors. I scored 100 percent on the final and several failing grades had to be changed in favor of the students. Anyway, Rubio sucked.

2:25 right after that horrible debate performance of Rubio in NH, in every single interview he said it was NOT a mistake repeating the same sentence 4 times, and he said he received the largest amount of campaign donations because of that "debate performance" as usual, Rubio's flip-flopping.

I think Rubio had said it wasn't a mistake at the time because he was too focused on the campaign donations he'd proceed to use to run political ads instead of how bad that moment made him look to the voters
