What’s interesting is that Nixon diplomacy was excellent and the key numbers under his presidency were average or above average. His paranoia alone made him a byword for presidential failure. America under Trump did quite well. Forget his vulgar, loud bloviating personality for a moment. The key numbers were excellent for most Americans. And don’t lie about debt. That was mostly driven by inane COVID policies and writing trillions in checks to private citizens, businesses and especially con artists in pharma selling a largely unnecessary’vaccine’. Take COVID numbers out and the country was better off by leaps and bounds than under Biden.
