Regarding Ruby, the whole Internet world told her for many years, that she is acting wrong. She never listened. Now when it comes to prison time, she surprisingly understands her faults. Add the fact she basically blames Jodi for her actions that already began before she met Jodi. For me she sounds remorseful,yes but only because of the repercussions. As I mentioned, people (thousands of people!)told her for many many many years, that she is wrong. She couldn't care less. Because there were no consequences. Now with consequences, she understands. For me she is a coward.

Jody's narcissism won't allow her to feel guilty for what she did. She doesn't love anyone, least of all children. Her narcissism does, however, allow her to blame even innocent children for her actions and behavior. Ask Jessie, she knows.
@missymani8 ай бұрын
Unpopular opinion: she truly loves her children but she is too narcissistic and sick to love them properly. Even her old videos where she punishes the kids, she really believes she is being a good mother and she does that to benefit them. This makes her very dangerous because this is how kids end up killed in order to "save them" from a made-up danger.

Dr G How do you tell when someone is faking, giving the judge & esp the cameras what they think they want to hear or see? My gut feeling is she still not taking full responsibility 4 cruel abusing criminal behavior. Still blaming Jodie's influence.

Exactly. I feel Ruby thru Jodie under the bus. She takes zero blame for abusing her own children. Jodie is the same, and when she gets released nothing will have changed. I hope both get 60 years.

We saw no trace of remorse in her until she got caught. I heard of a trial where the father left his adopted 2 year old in a hot car while he was at work. He was truly sad and horrified that he did that. He cried "my baby" during the trial, regardless of what was going on. He didn't make any speeches about how he was a great dad except for a mistake. He did nothing to lessen the sentence. With Ruby, she's trying to make herself look good and properly sad during all the right moments. Her lawyer and her are trying to showcase what a sorry person she is and she'll do better, they promise. And yet she still won't talk about her kids and their suffering. She shows know sign of caring about their pain. The father wouldn't stop crying about his baby and gave no sign he noticed the bad things happening to him. Ruby is very aware of the bad things happening to her. Anyone who says, "What I did wasn't that bad because....." is more concerned with avoiding punishment than making things right. Ruby is saying, "What I did wasn't that bad because Jody made me do it."

I have seen her videos prior to her interactions with Jodi Hilderbrand & she was already abusing her children with her husband. Ruby didn't come across as contrite, she was trying very hard to come across as the victim. I remember at her first hearing talking about her children being sexually abusive, this woman constantly blames her victims. Now she's also claiming that she wasn't Jodi's business partner but they clearly claimed that they were business partners prior to their arrests. Both of them are evil women but they were each evil in their behavior prior to getting to know each other. Jodie I feel has no hope of changing her mind set, she would go back immediately to abusing others. Ruby might be able to alter her thinking but her ability to abuse her children started prior to Jodie was apparent with her older children.

I think Ruby's tears are genuine but they're for the shame she's feeling now that all of her deeds have become public - it's got to be mortifying for her. However I don't think she understands the depth of the emotional and psychic trauma these kids have experienced, and it will take a long time for her to be able to face that, if she ever does.

@zxs71708 ай бұрын
In her mind, the kids are healed. In her thank you speech she thanks the people who saved and “healed” her children. She used the word “healed” in reference to the abused children twice…as if in a 4 month period the life long psychological and physical abuse she inflicted on her “babies” magically disappeared. Her sister Bonnie also did this in one of her videos. Bonnie made a video where the focus was on herself (much likeRuby), in which she flippantly said “the kids are fine.” These kids will suffer deep psychological and physical scars for the rest of their lives. These women are delusional, self serving, sick individuals.

Re: Jodi “loving those children”- I remember seeing a Connexions video with her and Ruby talking, and she mentioned that love sometimes means hurting someone. She really thinks she “had” to do those things to the children as a sign of her love, to “bring them out 😊of distortion into truth”. Her niece Jessi said Jodi told her the torture on her at age 14-15, was to “help her confess and repent”. I think Jodi is sadistic, and the quotes of things she said, from both Jodi and the prosecutor, make me think she is absolutely insane. I hope they keep her completely out of society for a very very long time.
@elizabethmiller8198 ай бұрын
I don't love the fact that Ruby uses the phrase "my distorted version of reality." Distorted is a Jodi word and it's a bit uncomfortable that she's still using the terminology. Hopefully she just means it in the regular meaning/use of the word and not the Connexions application.

To hear that she hired Jodi in 2019 6:25 the year the youngest started school explains so much and that it was a camp of Jodi's recommendation that the oldest boy was sent to, is heart breaking - especially after the recent death of an 11 year old that just died at one of these camps. I strongly believe that Pam Bodtcher who was the President of Connexions Foundation should also be on trial.. it was her home the girls were found at "cleaning" for her. Goodness only knows what the older girls were subjected to over those 4 years age 11 to 15 & age 12 to 16 after listening to Jodi's Niece and knowing they were found in Bodtcher's home. Mass complaints were filed by viewers starting in 2020 not long after they joined Connextions as a family for counselling. Other people need to come forward - Jodi Hildebrandt should never get out of jail - not ever. (Mormon Cult) I hope that all members of ConneXtions have been found and deprogrammed - that more children have been "saved". Pam Bodtcher needs to answer this question. If people feel that one person can't manipulate otherwise normal people then they have never heard of Jim Jones, the The Peoples Temple of the Disciples of Christ, originally Peoples Temple Full Gospel Church and the Flavour-aide cyanide poisoning where over 900 members of the Peoples Temple movement died. (Christian Cult) Or of Charles Manson who actually went to jail for murders he did not do, but manipulated others to do in his name. (Messianic Cult)

According to Utah State law pertaining to multiple, consecutive running prison sentences, the total cannot exceed 30 years regardless of the number of individual sentences and/or the length of each. I was incredibly disappointed to learn this. If ever there were prison sentences that should be carried out to their full extent, the sentences in both Franke and Hildebrand cases would surely represent such an example. Thank you, Dr. G. Your analyses are very much appreciated.
