They didn’t commit to attending until one month before and only AFTER the Palace made a formal announcement regarding the fact that ONLY working Royals would appear on the BP balcony. Twelve minutes later, Harry and his wife released a statement that they would be attending the Jubilee and were “excited” to be part of the celebration. Saw the photo of King Charles and Prince William planting the last tree for Queen Elizabeth II canopy. I am 73, live in USA,worked in downtown Cleveland, OH on the 9th floor of The Higbee Company and watched Charles plant a tree on our Public Square in the l970’s, exact year escapes me. Anyway, it was such an exciting highlight just to view it from afar❤. Have always loved the Monarchy, as did my late Mom who was often told she resembled QEII. We always watched all Royal events together. Weddings, funerals etc. She passed 2 years ago at 96. Why, that’s what she is. She was his mistress and certainly nothing more. If they go it will be just another chapter in their terrible Netflix series and they would only be there, not because they wanted to be, but because of the money they would get for this new chapter. Tell them it’s too late. They will still broadcast how they terrible they were treated. Just tell them they are too late with their response and their seats were filled by people who want to be there out of their pride in Charles not for the publicity. I wish those two would just go away but they are only doing this for publicity. Tell them they are too light and be done with them. H&M will only hold A&L over their heads as bribery. Be done with them and have them come begging to be back in the RF. Take away their Duke and Duchess titles, as they are only making their money because of their titles. King Charles has no authority over a 40 yr old man living in another country. The Harkles publicly make all these demands that the king basically ignores. The king even refused to see him last week, despite having the time. Then there was FROGXIT, depriving H of British residency. I'm told H no longer residing on crown property makes him ineligible to go visit other crown properties without express permission. It's pretty evident that the king is gradually distancing the Harkles from the Monarchy. Scobie moaned that the king was" trying to cut them out of the family". Well, yeah! They quit and abandoned their duties saying the monarchy was horrible and racist. Over and over. What did they expect? Congratulations? I know, they expected to be treated they deluded way they see themselves: as essential to the monarchy they quit. What part of quit do they not understand? Realistically if it wasn’t for the old fashioned “rules” of the time, Charles would have married Camilla from the start. It’s unfortunate that didn’t happen.
