That rude person has no business working at the post office. It sounds like she was annoyed by the amount (and later frequency) of the packages, and made the comment about the cheap shipping because she felt like they're doing more work for just the basic rate. People are allowed to have off days, but the fact that she remembered you and makes passive-aggressive comments when you go in, that is wrong. This is a prime example of when a customer should be able to file a complaint/speak to a manager.

I have penpal friends so I started to send letters with some extras, like a candy and so. I do have to write what's in the package and they always feel it. But the rules always change when I go there. Like, have rules you follow. Some of the workers want a list of things that are in the envelope some don't 😐. And no, the location doesn't matter. I say I'm sending a letter to England, add the list. Maybe a month later, "oh you don't need it for letters that go to England" hsjaiahsj and I always decorate my envelopes and I had decided to send mini mail, the smallest as I can go, I loved the envelope I made and I go there and the worker started to put some stickers on it. Came out they were for the tracking, but I didn't ask for it! Tracking is more expensive obviously but I gave in since ripping the stickers off would have damaged the envelope

@@theac1762 sure! There are websites, but I never used them since they confuse me. So what I did is that I joined a Penpal amino, but people might not be active, so a other place is Instagram! Just search # looking for penpals and so on, sometimes people have added to their bios if they take more penpals or not. I hope it helps!

Oh my god I've never been this early before in my life. I really want to say how much I love your channel you're always so honest and great at not being biased or nasty in videos. I admire that a lot. I've lived in Korea for years and appreciate when accounts like this can be so truthful and do proper research not letting koreaboo biases come through. You're also gorgeous and talented and funny I just love watching you! I've been kind of having a similarly offputting situation happening at my local grocery store ^^; there's this one cashier that's been working there forever, like since I was a small child and I've always seen her be friendly and nice to others around her but recently when I've been coming into the store and get into her line she never says a single thing to me! Not a hello back when I greet her, nor a how are you or even asking me if I would like my receipt at the end as all the other cashiers that work there do. :/ she just silently bags my stuff and occasionally gives me the side-eye and I don't understand it. It makes me feel bad and not even want come into that store at all. The worst part imo is that I'm also a cashier at the different bigger store and I know that if I ever treated a customer like that I would be ripped to shreds by the customer themselves and my managers! but then again, like I said before, I've never seen her act this way towards anyone else so I'm not sure.... sorry for the barrage/rant lol I've had this one my mind for a while and needed to get it out;;

I have a post office story. Okay, so was around 11 when this happened. I knew almost every single person who worked at the post office since my mom usually sends gifts to my cousins in Mexico. My friend had moved to a different county that year so I did what I usually did. I wrote letters. So one day I come in and there is a new girl working there. I like to hand my letters(and occasional gifts) to the people at the desk. So as I'm standing in line the girl comes up to me and asks where my mom is. I responded that she was not here with me. So the girls asks me to leave since I don't have an adult with me. So I ask her why because I was confused. Throughout the whole time that I have been sending letters, no one has asked me to do this. She said it was against the policy to send letters without an adult. I said OK, and left. I come back next day with my mother and come to send the letter. My mother does not understand English very well. So I come in with my mother and once again she asks us to leave. She said the my mother looked to young to have a daughter. So I of course, ask my mom to get her ID out. My mom takes it out and shows the girl that she is indeed an adult. The girl looks at us in disbelief and reluctantly lets us pass muttering something under her breath. We pass by and send out letter. I'm not sure what happened but that's not all. I come back again within a few weeks and ask for package. My friend told me earlier on that she was going to send me something via mail. So I ask and they send me to a different desk to pick it up. The girl was there. She looks at me and pushes(shoves) the package across the desk. I'm not that tall so you an imagine how trouble some it was when I couldn't reach it. I ask if she could please help me. She didn't respond to me and shoves the package again. She acting like she didn't want my germs or something. Anyways later that month I hear that something happened between her and a client, in which something pricey was broken. Never really heard about her after that. Anyways sorry if it's really long. The people at my post office are so nice. They've been working there for over 10 years, it's never anyone different and they are so friendly with everyone. I'm really lucky they aren't like the rude one you had

I love all the workers at the post office that I use. They are always so friendly. I live in a locked building so any package deliveries have to go to my PO box instead of to my residence, so lately they have seen me a lot. I let them know how much I appreciate them and that the work they do is important to so many of us. I don't know what I would do with out them.

I thought sending mail SHOULD be a confidential matter... I've had instances where the employee at the post office would open my envelope because it was a bit heavy. One time there was a small bump in the envelope, which I indicated was just a small tied ribbon. Seven out of the many times I tried sending mail to a penpal, my envelopes would be opened, then they'd shove my letters back in, slap on some tape to fix the tear, and called it a day... I've had my father mail my envelopes for me lately, and he's had no issues. I don't understand why he's had no issues :'(

A few weeks ago I had to go to the post office because I needed a sim card with an internet offer, since my old one wasn't active anymore, I couldn't even make calls or send texts. Citizens in my country had been discouraged from going outside unless it was necessary, but since both me and my mom needed internet to work and study, I figured it would be fine. Anyways I go to the counter and the lady looks to her coworker and she's like "This guy needs a new sim card", and he says "Um, we only do really important stuff you shouldn't be here for that." I replied that I needed internet at home to study and work and he was like "I don't believe that you don't have anything to connect at home." And I was like "Dude. If I did I wouldn't have needed to come here." I found it pretty rude.

We are from Germany and there was this old lady working at our office since a few weeks at that time. We also go there pretty often because my mom is returning packages and also has pen pals which is why she sends off at least one package or letter a week. There are two registers, one for letters and packages and one in a separate room for purchasing postcards, small gifts or office material. My mom wanted to purchase a birthday card for my sister's upcoming birthday and a few other items for her writing letter hobby and my university work. It got a bit pricey and the register was quite busy, quite a long queue forming behind my mom and me. This is why, she asked the old lady to pay with her bank card. My mom's card was quite old at the time probably about ten years, it was close before the banks had decided to integrate new chips into the cards and send out new ones for everyone. In Germany you either have to type in your PIN number into a device to pay via card or identify yourself via signature. In this shop, you had to identify via signature. Since my mom's card was that old, the signature on the card itself was already a bit blurred, but for the age still amazingly readable and there was nothing wrong with it. You could see without a problem that her signature was the same as the one on the card and no cashier ever (in ten years!) had a problem with it. This old lady, then, suddenly started to SCOLD my mom on how blurred her signature on the card was and that she actually should tell my mom she cannot pay via card because there is no way the lady could check whether the signature was the same as on the card and my mom had the definitively get a new bank card because the signature was broken, dirty and blurred and she still had to think about whether she would tell my mom off and deny her paying via card and so on. The point was especially, as you said in the video, the way she said it. There would have been nothing wrong with advising my mom to get a new bank card, perhaps, because, yeah, the one she had was pretty old already. But there was a queue of people behind us who were waiting impatiently and also listening to her scolding my mom about such a TINY thing which was not even terrible or bad to begin with. My mom just laughed and told her that no one in ten years ever told her the signature was hard to read and that actually you could see it pretty well, otherwise she would have gotten a new card a long time ago. And the lady kept talking BACK at her. Telling her that she was wrong and the signature blurry and that she actually shouldn't allow my mother to pay via card and that if she got into trouble for not being able to check my mother's identity because "these are the new guidelines" (hunny, these are the guidelines for as long as bank cards are in use for paying, but yeah) blahblah. My mother had ALREADY payed, though, so this discussion was completely useless anyway, holding up all the other people and even more rude. I turned around and the people behind us looked at her completely bewildered, too. My mother just packed up her card, said nothing anymore and we left with our stuff. My mom had this card for six more months without anyone ever saying anything, by the way, before she got a new one from the bank because they had built paying without contact into the new ones...

once i wanted to send a letter to my penpal, the envelope was decorated with a picture n stuff and when i went to the office one the workers told me that i cant send it out like that its "too decorated", eventho all the other times, the different workers told me its no problem. he told me that i must pay more if i want to send it like that, but like i said i never had to before. This happened around Christmas time about 6 months ago, but I live in the US and I was trying to send a card to Russia and the guy at the desk legit tells me "I don't think we can ship things there." I knew for a fact they could because I had used the post office's online shipping calculator earlier that day to make sure I knew how much it would cost, so I literally had to tell the employee that yes you can in fact mail things between Russia and the US and we don't have some kind of shipping embargo against them lol.

I've had a similar experience here in Switzerland with one of the ladies at the postoffice. A little bit of background info: I work at a bakery in a really small town and we don't take card payment so all we take is cash. Sometimes we obviously run out of coins and therefore I have to go get some "coin bars". Which is essentially just a bar of the same type of coin for a specific amount of money. Anyway, I always go get coins for about 400 bucks and at one point every time I went there was only this one "new" lady there. Shes around fourty years old and never seemed like mean or anything. So I went there and got my coins then left. The next time I had to go and grab coins she literally SIGHED when she saw me. Only gestured me to give her the money and didnt say hello or anything despite me always remaining super polite. I left again, slightly uncomfortable though. The time after that (it was like two weeks later) I walked up to her counter she looks at me, says "Nei..." (no), closes the counter, AND WALKS AWAY. SHE LEGIT FUCKING REFUSED TO EVEN INTERACT WITH ME. Then I waited there like wtf and eventually ANOTHER worker came and gave me my coins. So I asked why the other lady didnt stay and the answer I got was that it was her break. Mhm... Anyway, I refuse to go get coins for my bakery now lol

I have a depop and in the beginning I used to wrap the boxes in colorful paper and this one woman at my post office said “it looks like you wrap these because you’re trying to hind that it’s a priority box, you’re not allowed to use those” and I thought that was really rude.you shouldn’t assume what a customer has or is doing with their packages. It’s uncalled for. And just customer service workers in general should never give someone attitude or be rude even if you’re having a bad day it’s not the customers fault.

One time I accidentally packed my cousins phone into my suitcase and had to courier it back to her. The post office worker who helped me with her package was exactly the same as you are describing in your video- anyway, my cousin never received her cellphone and when I went back to the post office to ask about the package, the lady who was initially helping me was apparently not working there any longer. I would definitely not trust anyone like that handling my packages anymore so pleease report her if she does something again.

I have only been to the post office once, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I had to pick up a glass vase that I ordered online but I was not home at the time it was delivered and for some reason the package required a signature and it was at the post office. So I walk into the post office, and I had a similar experience like yours where the person at the counter completely ignored me, she was sorting out some papers so I understand she was occupied. After I patiently waited for her to finish sorting the papers, she put them away and comes back to the counter, so I thought this is my chance to speak up. I said excuse me many times and she was not responding, I didn’t understand at first because she was not doing anything and wasn’t preoccupied by anything she was literally just staring at me. So I said several times excuse me I need to pick up a package, until I had my voice raised up at almost a shouting level she finally responded and said what’s the name. So I gave her my name and she right away said “nope no packages under that name”. It was odd to me because she never looked she just said that immediately as if she had already checked but I was clearly in front of her face and I didn’t see her check and I said “ but you didn’t even check, I’m not sure how things work here, it’s my first time here but I’m sure you have to at least look for a package with my name”.So she proceeds to tell me “ you don’t have to tell me how to do my job, I’ll go look for your package”. So I’m just standing there thinking what the hell, but I stayed quiet and then she comes with the package but she tosses the package to me and I almost dropped it. It clearly says on the package fragile please handle with care and this woman tosses it to me. So I am just so shocked and I don’t say anything further because I don’t want to argue I just wanted to leave. To put things into perspective this was an older white woman, and I am a young Hispanic guy in my mid 20’s also the town I live in is predominantly white, so I’m not sure if this woman was just horrible at her job or if she was being racist to me. Ever since that experience I don’t ever want to go to my local post office ever again.

I don't have a post-office story, but I have a hotel story. When we were in Atlanta (my parents and I) we needed a place to stay, so we went to this really nice hotel (btw, i am mixed mexican with japanese and korean) and as soon as we walked in, the lady gave me and my parents (i have two moms) a really weird look. There weren't many cars in the parking lot and the hotel was really big. My stepmom asked the lady if they had any rooms. The lady gave me and my mothers a weird look and said that they were "full". My stepmom asked if she was sure and to check, but the lady just said that they were full, again with the look on her face. My stepmom told her that she didn't care how much it cost because we needed a place to stay. My mom jumped in and told my stepmom to not worry about and that we can just stay somewhere else. Another incident occurred when we were in Florida for my 14th birthday(my parents had surprised me with a trip to Disney World). It was the day of my birthday and we went to get breakfast. Our waitress was very rude and kept giving us dirty looks as well. I ordered a drink and she told me that they "ran out", but a few moments later, I saw her give the same drink to another kid. I felt mad. Especially since it was my birthday. My parents were pretty upset as well because they just wanted me to be happy.

SIS STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!!!! no one deserves to be treated like that! its none of her business what you send in the mail, if for some reason you were sending something illegal, its not HER job to deal with, the customs officers or the people who put the items on the plane will screen them to make sure its nothing dangerous. but on a more positive note this makeup look is gorgeous

I also sell some accessories online and I’ve had a similar experience with this one lady who has been working at the post office for years-she always asks me what I’m sending out and every time I receive something and go to the post office to pick it up, she always asks me what I’m receiving. She says it in a way that seems really arrogant and judgmental so I just always try to stay away from her counter haha

Hello! I absolutely love the ears, but I have a request or idea. It would be really cool to see a tiger makeup look with tiger ears!I'm curious as to what that looks like. I haven't looked at your shop yet but having tiger ears(or even just ears of different sizes and shapes) would be very cool! You don't see that type of thing much and you make ears so well! Also, do you already make or plan to make animal tails to go with your ears eventually? It's a pretty neat idea, but take your time to make sure your happy with everything 😊. I always have fun watching your videos and often put them in the backgroud when drawing because your voice is so soothing. Keep being a great human being, and have a good day! 😊

I had a very weird experience once too. For context I have a typically Latino last name and my appearance is somewhat racially ambiguous but probably Latino leaning despite the fact that I'm actually Italiano. My dad who is much darker skinned is frequently 'profiled' as Latino in the US. Anyway I was staying with my fiancee (white american) and her town doesn't have a whole lot of diversity in. Went to the post office to pick up a package (from Hollister of all things) that for some reason had been marked as undeliverable so I went there to stop them from mailing it back. I gave the guy the tracking number, address and my name and he started grilling me about was a I US citizen and did I legally live at that address etc etc and he couldn't deliver it because 'sometimes people who don't live at places ship bad things'. It was Hollister. Yeah totally picking up my coke racket shipment from Hollister 🙄. I was also baffled considering it's a 4 story home with multiple apartments with new residents all the time. Not to mention other friends/family of my fiancee had previously had stuff shipped. He made it very obvious in a subtle insidious manner that it was a racial thing for him. Really gross feeling.

I worked for Post Canada for awhile and anything that clerk did, had it been for Post Canada, would've skyrocketed the possibility of being fired. The only question we're required to ask is if there's any dangerous goods in the parcel and all we need is a yes or no answer. I've literally had to call in the RCMP before because people tried to illegally ship alcohol in a dry Arctic community.

So for a couple years I have been penpaling a girl from another country. The letters don't go very far, we both live in Europe quite close to each other. We both are really into crafting and decorating our letters, we always put in some teabags, art, cosmetics and simmilar stuff. One day my friend made a special letter for my birthday. She put some hand made jewellery in the mail, she packaged it nicely and put into the envelope with the letter. But when the letter got to me and I opened it... The jewellery was no longer there - worse, it's beautiful wrapping was torn and smashed into a ball of paper which someone conciously put back in the letter, like frowing trash away. It was even more shocking that the robbery itself - the fact that the person not only squished the letter to feel the jewellery, opened and took it out, but also left the messy leftovers on purpose in the letter. :( How can you not respect your job and other peoples work and money? Since then I always check to seal my letters very firmly and tape them around, but honestly I don't even know if that helps. :(

Yeah I feel just weird lately when I go out. I don’t do anything when I feel a little attacked cuz I’m just so shocked during the times people talk to me rudely. I would wanna say you should’ve talked to her but I’m really not the kind of person to go out of my way and ask for a manager. I hope we gain the strength!

I have an Etsy shop so I send out a decent amount of packages. But I literally had to close my shop down for awhile because I had such bad anxiety going to the post office. I’ve had workers tell me not to come in, just send the mail from home (I couldn’t because they were international). They’ve sighed, rolled their eyes at me, acted like I was wasting their time even tho it’s their job. I’ve always sent my mail from home when I can, but when I go to the post office now I always bring someone with me, otherwise I can’t build up the courage to go
