That whole carriage scene basically illustrates exactly how each of his wives are equals or greater than him in their own way. With Eris being the one to make fun of & point out Rudeus and Sylphies bedtime failings. And make sure Rudy stayed to his vow. And threaten him with “That’s why I’ll stay by his side and beat him up if he tries anything” 😤 While Sylphie was just alright I’ll do whatever you want but if she had the opportunity she would hit the sack with him. Regardless of what she knew he actually wanted (the girl has her needs after all)😒😌 While Roxy is questioning and making fun of him like “I don’t mind either but although is this some kind of religious gesture” Both curious to see what is going on and like she was as his teacher teasing her pupil with a ridiculous comment. 😑

I'm not a Mushoku fan but I watch these in hope that Ascendance of a bookworm will get the same treatment. I do think these analysis are good and interesting to watch.

@@MystycCheez It is very good in my opinion. But it may not be for you. I would say the if you enjoy intrigue, politics, and some economics with good lore give it a shot. There is a lot more detail and more character development in the novel. The forums always had a lot of discussion after each chapter release.

I've been theorising that Pax will/has still fulfilled Orsted's prophesized destiny of always turning Shirone into a democracy despite his death because he happened to concieve an heir the same night he died, and that heir Pax Jr will become king of Shirone and do what Pax would have done. I can imagine this being confirmed in the sequel taking place 80 years later if/when they find Laplace in the Shirone Republic. Although finding baby Laplace won't be as enticing a story as fighting Laplace's army, but this could still happen. Maybe Orsted gave up on the Republic because it wasn't founded by Pax Sr, so he doesn't bother finding and killing baby hitlace, only to find out too late that he was born in Shirone Republic and Orsted just f'd up.
