I love how these judges pretend there’s nuance and complexity to their judging yet they won’t commit to a quantifiable judging system where poses or round are actually scored. If a competitor’s first appearance is so important prove it with your judging system. Use a weight system that puts emphasis on the score of the first appearance and quarter turns. Until you do that I won’t take any of this shit seriously. In reality, the current system is a blackbox that allows judges to pick whoever they want without having to provide a reason or contradict themselves.
