So today I thought we would take a look at the lore of dawn from pokemon. She recently came to back into the pokemon anime for pokemon journeys anime dawn so it only made sense to talk about their history and the lore behind pokemon trainer dawn, also known as pokemon trainer platinum in the pokemon adventures manga. So that is why today we take a look at trainer dawn explained, in this series I try to talk about the Pokemon Lore, specificly the Pokemon Character Lore Explained for Dawn.

I like how Dawn actually felt more important to the story than other female leads in the anime. As in, May’s story could easily be skipped if you just want to focus on Ash as the main plot. Ash didn’t even watch all of May’s contests (what a good friend you are, Ash.). But with DP we immediately have Dawn as the main character of the first episode with only a cliffhanger about Ash and then throughout sinnoh, Ash learns and adapts Dawn’s contest strategies into his battling. Ash felt closer to Dawn and his story was more involved and intertwined with her goals. Even Dawn and Brock having a role in team galactic’s plans and the lake guardians made her (and Brock) feel more important.

Agree. Ash and may never really trained together other than once but Dawn and Ash helped each other out and trained with each other a lot and were inspired by each others battle styles and techniques and put it into their own ( gym battles and contest). Dawn and Ash are My fav battling duo. And to me he seems closer to Dawn, I mean he went to all of her contest in sinnoh. And reason he a lot closer to Dawn is they not only have this sibling relationship but that they are very similar in ways. As in they both started their journey with a goal.

also in the journey's episode where they see their alternate selves, dawn placed #2 on her first league attempt which is so cool how it reflects her grand festival attempt. she grew at an alarming rate compared to anyone else

Yes the Diamond, Pearl and Platinum chapters of Pokémon Adventures are easily my favorites! Dia, Pearl and Platinum are also my favorite characters in the series, I love their dynamic and friendship so much!

I love Dawn and I love one of her manga counterparts, Mitsumi, she is the most different one from her counterparts because despite having the same outfit and being the female lead in her manga, she has green hair and her story is rather different

I love may, dawn and Serena because they had their own rivals that kept showing up frequently. From what I remember the others didn't have that although Lily had great story and character development with her family.

I watched all of DP from Oct to Jan; and her devolpment of overconfident to humble I feel is kinda hard to see i personally. I prefer her learning Medical Attention from Brock; while also getting over her Dee_Dee Nickname, while also getting over her fear of Plusile and Minun

@@lunerblade13 Yes, but when Ash did that he later regretted trading Butterfree and took him back. After that Ash never traded any of his pokemon. But then when Zoe suggested the idea that Ash and Dawn switch Buizel and Aipom, they were surprised and really thought it over, and once they did they decided to trade. And they never took it back

My answer to your question would depend on whether semilegendaries/mythicals are allowed or not. If so, I'd go with a dark type team: Grimmsnarl, honchcrow, darkrai, marshadow, mandibuzz and spiritomb. If not, it'd be a bit more difficult to choose, but I think I'd go with a steel team: empoleon, bronzong, ferrothorn, metagross, lucario and aegislash. Great video as always!

It’s actually quite hilarious the lengths the manga went to withhold her name to Dia and Pearl and the fact her name is typically Platina not Platinum was because you cannot have your name be Platinum in the games via the character count so they shortened it to Platina.

Answer for the question of the day: Rather than be a single type, my champion team would be multi type like Blue and Cynthia and is an updated version of my nuzlocke team. My team: Infernape Umbreon Electivire Scizor Venusaur Swampert. Each of them have their strengths and weaknesses, but many cover the weaknesses of their teammates.

commenting on Dawn I honestly like her design in Platinum, with coat, looks better on her, and I like her appearance in the game more than the other franchise, her manga counterpart is too royal and her anime counterpart is too sloopy even though the game version of her is just us playing as her or Prof Rowan's boring assistant, but Pokémas gives her more characteristic, and I just like that version better
