Beautiful fish, he will be happy in 1000 gallons for quite sometime!‼️💯👍❤

Thank you. If he can handle light brackish for that long...

Great work. Try the gulper in a heavily planted tank. They are sensitive to accumulating metabolites and waste products that the filter doesn’t remove from the water. It’s a catfish thing.

Thankyou. The WC on that system is continuous 100% every 3 days. This should take care of the accumulation.

The grouper is a bucket list fish for me. You can say I'm a grouper groupie! I'm hoping to learn more about them from you Viktor. 👍✌️

Always have to be funny, Frank :) I like play on words. ... I am grouper-illiterate. We'll be learning together I guess.

Those bumble grouper can survive in brackish water when young but will eventually need full salt and full salt is ideal for them even when theyre younger.

Thank you David. I hear from different peers different stories on this topic. I tend to think you and those who say what you say are correct, but the opposing camp has some heavy hitters like Wesley Wong or RareFish.

So do you think you’ll be keeping him long-term Vic? I hope so.:) What’s up with our giant carp, he smashed his nose
@Fish-Story2 күн бұрын
Long term varies. If I could, I would. Let's for now take it 1 day at a time, then see. ... Catla had a blister on its lip that partially broke off. I hope it'll get lost altogether.

has the lussoso grown even more???? and at 7:33 at the surface by the pipe....looks like M. chipokae one of my favorite mbunas and also endangered in the wild
@Fish-Story2 күн бұрын
It appears that Lusy is growing slowly, yes :) I'd trust you on the African cichlids.

Does the fish swim up through the white pipes? Or is it too much flow i saw in the gulper and cichlid tank they swim pretty close to it.
@Fish-Story2 күн бұрын
Too much flow. Only 2 fish managed to do this so far, both are eels.

Question for you: Where did you find the "ponds" with the glass front as shown in 5:40? Or did you make those? If you made them, do you have a tutorial or would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks man, I love your content, keep up the amazing work!

Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate it. The two 4500 gal blue fiberglass tanks we bought from Dolphin Fiberglass of Homestead FL back in 2011. They have been recently bought by Fusion Fiberglass. I can send you their catalog if you wish, by email. Ours is on our website.

Thank you. I've read some generic info on them over the years and now too, but I thought maybe you could point me to a more rigorous link that describes their plight in fresh, brackish, and salt in depth and authoritatively?
