Man I've wanted one of those for years Al. If I'm not mistaken they have one in 9 mm. Which would make more sense to me. But hey are sweet looking. I've got several Rugers. I've never had one let me down.

I have a Ruger SR1911 .45 and not a year old. The barrel bushing seperated from the front plate. I sent it back and got it fixed in 12 days. The gun is awesome. I’m anxious to see how it works. I got it back a few days ago.

I have this one as well as the light weight commander, the night watchman commander an the offer size all in 45 acp. the Ruger commanders are my favorites of all the 20 plus pistols I own.

Great gun for the money! I am impressed with how well put together and finished it is. I think it’s as nice as any Smith & Wesson 4.25 inch.

Good video, and it looks like you're from my neck of the woods, down here in Tennessee 😊.. letting you know I have a ruger sr1911 9mm, 5in barrel.. love the look and feel of the gun, I haven't shot it yet, but I'm having a problem with it.. if you put a loaded mag in and rack the slide and then drop the loaded mag out about half of the time a bullet will be stripped off the magazine and roll out free..it seems to be the mag and feed ramp not playing well together.. I'm hoping it's not something I'm going to have to live with and just a magazine spring that is not broken in because I really do like the gun and this will be my 2nd 1911....

I’ve done a lot of work in Tennessee. And my dad lives down there for around 12 years. In a little place called Lafollett. I used to do a lot of fishing in a lake there. We would put in our boat at a place called Indian Creek. I think that was the name of it. Some beautiful country down there. I want to thank you for watching my friend. I have the light weight but it’s a little rough on the arthritis. May need to trade into the all steel model. I sure enjoyed that light weight when my hands were still good. 😢
