How is the sliding portion on/in the lever assembly tool/ jig used while installing? After I could not get the tool to align the lever in the lever mount in the magwell, I put the jig/tool aside and I just put the spring and pin in the lever by hand, and once getting it aligned in the lever mount on the magwell, hammered the lever pin in and the assembly pin fell out. Works perfect now. The lever installation tool/jig without complete instructions was a waste of time. But this video served its' purpose by showing how to line it all up, so thanks for the video.

This video is excellent for use of the assembly tool/jig replacing modular stocks with removable magazine wells that accommodate AI-style magazines shown on page 24 of owner's manual; however, this video is so much better in illustrating the procedure. Excellent Video. Thank you Ruger.

I recently purchased an American Predator Left Hand rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. Will this kit work on the LH models? I was informed that it wouldn't but I can't understand why that would be.

Yes. I just installed the AISC magwell adapter on my Ruger Predator. 308 rifle. The jig that goes with the kit is crap, just hold it together with thumb and finger pressure to align the hole and tap in the black roll pin. Use the starter pin to hold the spring in place inside the mag release lever.

Hey! Could anyone share the part number of this conversion kit? I cannot find this on a Ruger site and it's difficult sometimes to order like "I need a thing from this video". Rifle is Predator 308 model number 6974.

Call Customer Service and ask for the AI conversion Kit. They will verify your S/N and get you the right one.

This latch system isn't sh-t! The retaining pin holds nothing in place. This is gonna make me buy a new stock because this one isn't worth crap.

Hello::: In November and December I bought 4 Ruger Rifles. Will be last Damn Ruger's I shall buy. One was Ruger America Rimfire 22 Magnum, No Complaints found on this gun. Ruger Precision 22 Magnum, Bolt had a Big Bur which I filed off. The Bolt still drug in chamber. A work still in progress. My third 22/45. I have a 1992 22.45 SS. Fine trigger. I have a 1998 22.45 great trigger. My new 22/45 lite in grey color, Trigger is some what like SHIT. I do not think a File will fix it. That pissed me off. I owned 1920 S&W 38 a million $ Trigger. A Colt Woodsman, I could hit pop cans at 100 Feet because if Trigger. Also got Ruger America Predator 6.5 Creedmoor....I have owned new and used rifles. But never had any that would not Feed a round into Chamber. Now I am really Pissed to the bone. I post on a Ruger site on Facebook on 12/23. Ruger ask for Email and Telephone #. About 3 weeks went by so I called Ruger. Ruger man wanted to act like Ruger has no problems. I was getting no where. So I said the net tells me I need to change Mag wells. So he said yes, first thing we agreed on. He said he would send me a mag well. I said do I get a Magazine that fits that. He said no WE Do Not Have any Magazines. I thought does this POS think I am fucking stupid. I also told Ruger man I may take gun and trade I For a Savage, He said go ahead and trade. We know who trained this ass hole. I am telling my story across the net and if they don't like it they can kiss my ass. Quality control is shit !!!
